Video: Savings are a priority for Indonesia’s middle-class

Find out what Indonesia’s middle-class consumers plan to do with their increasing spending power

With a population of over 250 million, Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous nation. Its fast-growing economy means that Indonesia’s middle class is growing rapidly. Find out what’s important to these consumers as their spending power increases.

The findings in this video come from an independent survey we commissioned of 5,000 affluent and emerging affluent consumers across five of our key markets – Indonesia, India, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya. Our survey shows that a majority of consumers (between 54 and 91 per cent) expect their personal financial position to improve in the next five years.
