• This Offer is only applicable to existing Standard Chartered Bank credit card customers who have already been contacted by the Bank in relation to this campaign through SMS, eMail, Letter, Online Banking or Call Centre agent.
• This promotion is valid from 1 January 2016 to 31 March 2016 (both days inclusive).
• The eligible cardholders must spend a minimum amount during the promotional period as specified in the direct communication from the Bank on their Credit Card/s (hereinafter ‘Minimum Spend Requirement’) to be eligible to receive a guaranteed gift. The minimum spend requirement varies across Cardholders selected for this campaign with specific amounts communicated via SMS, eMail or Letter.
• The 'minimum spend requirement' must include retail transactions which include Point-of-Sale and online purchases (done either in or outside the UAE).
• The following transactions are excluded from the eligibility criteria: retail school /college/university fees transactions, spends at exchange houses, cash withdrawals, balance transfers, fixed payment plans and smart payment plans.
• Transactions considered for the Minimum Spend Requirement will be the sum of all eligible retail transactions made across all the Cardholder’s Standard Chartered UAE Credit Cards.
• Please note that this Offer is limited to 1 Gift per client.
• Cardholders who meet the campaign requirements will be informed via SMS within 30 days after the expiry of the promotion.
• Retail purchases/transactions made on the Primary as well as Supplementary Credit Card/s will be included for the calculation of the Minimum Spend Requirement.
• Retail transactions made on the Credit Card which are subsequently converted into easy instalment plans are included for the Minimum Spend Requirement
• Cardholders eligible for the Gift will need to provide their original Credit Card and a valid Photo ID (Government issued Photo ID Proof) at the time of receiving the Gift from the Merchant / Vendor nominated by the Bank
• Cardholders have to ensure that their current contact information with the Bank is up to date.
• The Bank does not offer or provide any warranties, or accept any responsibility or liability of any kind with respect to the guaranteed Gift given under this Offer. Furthermore, Apple is not a participant in or a sponsor of this program.
• To the extent of any inconsistency between this Offer terms and the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms (available at any of our branches or our website the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms and Conditions will prevail.
• Cardholders eligible for this campaign will not be eligible for any other campaign offered by Standard Chartered Bank UAE on Credit Cards during the period of this campaign.
• This campaign, along with its features, has been introduced by the Bank at its sole discretion. Accordingly, the Bank retains the right to discontinue the campaign or vary its features thereof at any time without prior notice.
• The Bank reserves the right to substitute the prize with any alternative prize of equivalent value at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, including but not limited to disputes on meeting spend thresholds, the Bank's decision will be considered as final
• The Gift is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other item.
• The Bank is not responsible for any loss, damage and/or injury sustained by the winner or any other person arising directly or indirectly from the use of any of the Gifts. The Bank is not the supplier of any Gift offered and will not accept contractual, torts or any other kind of liability in respect of any Gift supplied by third party merchants. The Bank makes no representation or warranty with respect to the satisfactory quality or performance of the Gift given in this offer. The Gift is subject to the terms and conditions as may be imposed by the Merchant(s) which are beyond our control. Accordingly, the Bank will not be responsible or liable for any death, injury, damage or loss suffered by any Cardholder or any third party or any of their property which is caused directly or indirectly by any of the Gift.
• Cardholders who have cancelled or terminated the credit card for any reason at the time of computation of the eligibility for this campaign, will not be eligible for the Gift.
• If the Credit Card is overdue, blocked or suspended for any reason whatsoever, then the Gift shall stand forfeited but may be reinstated, at the sole discretion of the Bank.
• The Bank's decision on computation and forfeiting of Gift will be final, conclusive and binding to the Cardholder.
