  • The Uber promotion on Standard Chartered UAE Credit Cards is valid from 1 October 2016 until 10 April 2017 (both days inclusive) (‘promotion period’).
  • The Uber promotion on Standard Chartered UAE Credit Cards is applicable for all Standard Chartered UAE Credit Card Holders (‘Cardholder’).
  • When the Cardholder creates an account and signs up on Uber for the first time and links his Standard Chartered Credit Card in the Uber application, the Cardholder is eligible for the first 3 free rides on Uber in the UAE (up to a maximum of AED 35 per free ride), upon entering the promo code ‘SC2016UAE’ at the time of linking the Standard Chartered Credit Card. If the Cardholder is already an Uber User, he/she will not be eligible for the 3 free rides.
  • The Cardholder is eligible for a 20% cashback on each Uber ride in the UAE and across the globe during the promotion period provided the overall retail spend per calendar month is equal to or more than AED 2,000 (‘minimum monthly spend’). All retail spends (within UAE or outside UAE and point-of-sale sale transactions as well as online transactions) on the Primary as well as the Supplementary Credit Card will contribute to the AED 2,000, except for spends at exchange houses, any cash withdrawals or any Balance Transfers (BT), Fixed Payment Plans (FPP) or ant Smart Payment Plans (SPP) booked on the Credit Card.
  • The Cardholder can earn up to a maximum of AED 175 as Cashback on Uber rides charged to the Standard Chartered UAE Credit Card, per calendar month.
  • For the month of April 2017, the overall retail spend between 1 and 10 April has to be equal to or more than AED 2,000, to be eligible for the 20% cashback.
  • The Cashback earned on Uber rides each calendar month of the campaign period will be credited into your Primary credit card account in the subsequent calendar month, provided the minimum monthly spend is met, between the Primary and Supplementary Credit Cards.
  • The Bank does not offer or provide any warranties, or accept any responsibility or liability of any kind with respect to the product or services under this Offer.
  • The Uber mobile application and service is provided by Uber, and any dispute with the Uber application/product/service/driver or Uber must be resolved with Uber and not with the Bank.
  • To the extent of any inconsistency between this Offer terms and the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms (available at any of our branches or our website www.sc.com/ae) the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms and Conditions will prevail.
  • This Offer, along with its features, has been introduced by the Bank at its sole discretion. Accordingly, the Bank retains the right to discontinue the campaign or vary its features thereof at any time without prior notice.
  • The Bank is not responsible for any loss, damage and/or injury sustained by the Cardholder or any other person arising directly or indirectly from the use of this Offer.   • The Bank's decision on computation and forfeiting of cashback will be final, conclusive and binding to the Cardholder.
