Terms and Conditions for Online Equity Trading Amazon eGift Card promotion

1. This Standard Chartered Bank Online Equity Trading introductory promotion (“Promotion”) is available from 01 January to 28 February 2023, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).

2. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Promotion T&Cs. Eligibility.

3. This Promotion is open to clients of Standard Chartered Bank UAE (the “Bank”) who will successfully open an Online Equity Trading account on Online Banking and subsequently buy Stocks and/or Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) via SC mobile app or Online Banking during the Promotion Period (each an “Eligible Client” and collectively, “Eligible Clients”).

4. This Promotion is only applicable for “buy” trades executed on Online Equity Trading platform via SC mobile App and/or Online Banking.

5. This promotion is limited to the first 100 clients who will successfully qualify during the campaign period.

6. To qualify for this Promotion, Eligible Clients must meet the following qualifying criteria to receive the fee rebates, as set out below:

Note: An Eligible Client will receive an email notification upon activation of the account to inform them that their account has been activated. An Eligible Client remains liable for the payment of any transfer-out fee, and any transactional fee payable to any third party, including, but not limited to, any tax or stamp duty, transaction levy, exchange fee, clearing fee, or market fee, that may be imposed on such Eligible Client by law.

7. The Amazon eGift Card will be in AED and will be applicable to the Amazon.ae store only. Amazon.ae restrictions apply.

9. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including eligibility. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

10. The Bank reserves the right to do any of the following without prior notice or reason: (a) terminate, withdraw, shorten or extend this Promotion at the Bank’s sole discretion, with or without prior notice or reason; and/or (b) vary, modify, add or delete any of these Promotion T&Cs. You understand and agree to be bound by any such variation.

11. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion T&Cs and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to this Promotion, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

12. These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates and parties submit to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Arab Emirates.
