Improving Access to Finance

Millions of people either have no access to a bank or are severely underserved by financial institutions. Widening access to finance for individuals and key economic sectors such as SMEs is a core part of our strategy. In UAE, we've given over US$450mn to 11,960 SME clients, increasing lending to SMEs by more than 60% in 2012.

We're making it possible for people to use their mobiles to pay for goods or transfer money, whether or not they have a bank account. That is why we launched Breeze, a mobile banking app that gives our customers access to their bank accounts at any time or place. Learn more about Breeze.

To meet the needs of our Muslim clients and customers, we offer 'Saadiq', a dedicated Islamic Banking service. With more than 30,000 unique Saadiq customers in the UAE, we are striving to offer unique financial solutions to unique needs.
