Standard Chartered Bank appoints new Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan Morris to strengthen Standard Chartered Bahrain business growth and momentum
Monday 30 June 2008, Manama, Bahrain- Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain announced the appointment of Jonathan Morris as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his appointment, Jonathan was the Regional Head of Origination & Client Coverage, Africa Region Standard Chartered Bank.

Jonathan joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2000 and has held a number of senior positions in USA, Europe, UAE and Africa. Before his appointment as Regional Head Origination & Client Coverage Africa early this year, he was the Head of Corporate & Institutional banking, UAE & Oman and Regional Head Corporate & Institutional Banking, Europe. He holds Bsc (Hons) Banking and Finance degree from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.
