John Peace, Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Visits Bahrain
90 years and continuing to reinforce the Bank's commitment since 1920
Tuesday 1st June 2010, Manama John Peace, Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Plc is visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain today. During his visit he will be meeting a number of Senior Government officials, regulators and key clients of the Bank in the Kingdom.
He is accompanied by V. Shankar, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas, Steve Bertamini, Group Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Consumer Banking and senior regional managers from the Middle East
John Peace's visit coincides with the start of Standard Chartered Bahrain's 90th Anniversary celebrations. Standard Chartered was the first bank to be established in the Kingdom having first opened business in 1920. In the coming months the Bank will be participating in a series of initiatives to reinforce our long presence in the Kingdom.
