Standard Chartered Bank Appoints Sai Narain as Head of Consumer Banking Bahrain
Wednesday 11 August 2010, Manama, Bahrain - Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain announces the appointment of CDK Sai Narain as the Head of Consumer Banking for Bahrain. He will also be responsible for the bank's Consumer Banking businesses across the Northern Gulf and Levant.
In his new role, Sai Narain will be responsible for the strategy, development and management of the Bank's Consumer Banking business in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon and Jordan with a focus on the continuous development of key growth segments - Premium Banking and SME. Sai brings with him more than 17 years of extensive knowledge and international banking experiences.

Sai joins Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain from Standard Chartered Bank India where he was the Head of Consumer Transaction Banking, Personal Banking Marketing and Business Intelligence. He has an impressive track record of creating and growing the deposit business while he oversaw the rapid expansion of the business in India. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank India, he was with Citibank for thirteen years in Taiwan and India. His key responsibilities were development of the Retail Banking business, Credit Card proposition as well as service quality results.

Sai holds a B.E. Mechanical Engineering from College Of Engineering, Anna University, Madras, India and a MBA, Marketing from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam (Deemed University), Andhra Pradesh, India.
