Hua Ho Ramadhan Promotion (“this Promotion”) Terms and Conditions (“these Terms and Conditions”):


  • This Promotion is from 2 June to 25 June 2017 (“Promotion Period”)

Eligibility & Benefits

  • Standard Chartered Hua Ho MasterCard Credit Cardholders who spend minimum of BND50 in a single receipt at participating Hua Ho Department Store outlets during the Promotion Period will stand a chance to receive bill wipe-out via lucky draw.
  • Participating Hua Ho Department Store outlets means Hua Ho outlets at Manggis, Sengkurong, Tanjong Bunut and Yayasan.
  • The credit card spend applies to both supermarket and department store purchases.
  • Subject to these Terms and Conditions, there will be a total of seventy-five (75) winners selected and contacted the following month after the end of the Promotion Period. The random selection will be made based on their cumulative number of chances over the Promotion Period by a computerised system from the pool of eligible entries on the draw date.
  • Winners for the draw will be notified the following month after the Promotion Period by SMS and/or telephone at their phone numbers in our records only.
  • There will be three (3) Spend Periods during the Promotion Period as follows:

  • There will be three (3) Spend Periods during the Promotion Period as follows:
  • Each Spend Period will consist of 25 winners who will be entitled to a bill wipe-out for the corresponding transaction drawn to a maximum of BND150 per winner.
  • The bill wipe-out will be credited back to the winner’s credit card the following month after the Promotion ends.
  • A cardholder may only win once during each Spend Period.
  • Any transaction reversal will be excluded from this Promotion.
  • Standard Chartered Bank shall not accept any responsibility for the services and products offered by Hua Ho Department Store. The services and products are the responsibility of Hua Ho Department Store and are subject to their terms and conditions.
  • Employees of Standard Chartered Brunei and Standard Chartered Securities (B) Sdn Bhd are not eligible for the Lucky Draw.

Banking & Merchant’s Agreement

  • This Promotion is governed and subject to be contained within the terms and conditions on which we provide our products including the Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms and any other documents forming our banking agreement.
  • This Promotion is governed and subject to be contained within the terms and conditions of the Participating Hua Ho Department Store outlets.


  • We may vary, modify, delete or add to these Term and Conditions by notice to you in accordance with our usual practice and in accordance with any applicable law. This may include giving notice to you by public announcement as set out in Clause 7.3 of Customer Terms.
  • We may substitute benefits with similar value and at any time without prior notice and without assigning reasons thereof.
  • We may cancel or withdraw this Promotion at any time.
  • In the case of any disputes arising from or in connection with this Promotion, our decision is final and conclusive.
