How to accumulate your points?

Every Fund Transfer, Credit Card Bill Payment and Other Bill Payment will earn 5 points.

Earn an additional 10 points for new users to Online Banking or if you have not made a transaction for the past 3 months.

Customers earning the highest points for the month will be rewarded with the monthly prizes. While all customers will be entitled to a chance for the grand draw when they accumulate a total of 30 points per month during the promotion period.

Terms and Conditions:
Digital Banking Promotion (“this Promotion”) Terms and Conditions (“these Terms and Conditions”):
  1. Term

    1.1 This Promotion is valid from 7 July 2017 to 30 September 2017 (“Promotion Period”).

  2. Eligibility & Benefits

    2.1 The Promotion is applicable to new and existing Standard Chartered Bank customers who have enrolled for Online Banking and perform certain transactions online following clause 2.2 below accumulating to a minimum 30 Points per month during the Promotion Period.

    2.2 Earning Points

    2.2.1 Customers shall earn 5 Points for each Fund Transfer, Credit Card Bill Payment and Other Bill Payment.
    2.2.2 Customers shall earn additional one-off 10 Points when they meet any one of the following criteria:
    i) Customers who register for the first time during the campaign period; or
    ii) Customers who have not been active for the last three months prior to campaign period.

    Fund Transfer

    2.2.3 There must be a minimum fund transfer of BND50 in order to be eligible for Points.
    2.2.4 Fund transfer will apply for transfers between Standard Chartered Bank accounts, local bank accounts and international bank accounts.
    2.2.5 The following fund transfer shall be excluded from earning Points
    i) Repetitive transfers between the same accounts.
    ii) Fund Transfer between two accounts under the same customer.

    Credit Card Bill Payment

    2.2.6 There must be a minimum credit card bill payment of BND40 in order to be eligible for Points.

    2.2.7 Bill payments through shall be excluded from this Promotion and will not be entitled to Points.

    2.3 Monthly Prizes

    2.3.1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, two (2) customers who achieve the highest point accumulation each month will be entitled to win the following prizes:

    2.3.2 Winners will be notified by SMS and/or telephone at their phone numbers in our records in the following month.
    2.3.3 A customer may only win a Monthly Prize once during the Promotion Period.

    2.4 Grand Draw

    2.4.1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, three (3) potential winners will be selected and contacted 2 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period to attend the Grand Draw event at which a Grand Prize winner will be determined. The random selection will be made based on their cumulative number of chances over the Promotion Period by a computerised system from the pool of eligible entries on the draw date. The date of the Grand Draw event will be communicated to the potential winners.
    2.4.2 Potential winners for the Grand Draw will be notified by SMS and/or telephone at their phone numbers in our records only.
    2.4.3 Grand draw prizes are as follows:

    2.4.4 Standard Chartered Bank reserves the right to draw reserve winners to substitute any winner subsequently found to be disqualified at the Grand Draw.
    2.4.5 Employees of Standard Chartered Brunei and Standard Chartered Securities (B) Sdn Bhd are not eligible for the Grand Draw.

    2.5 All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-redeemable for cash, credit or any other prizes and other items in part or in whole.

    2.6 Standard Chartered Bank shall not accept any responsibility for the services and products offered by our vendors. The services and products are the responsibility of participating vendors and are subject to their terms and conditions.

  3. Banking Agreement

    3.1 This Promotion is governed and subject to be contained within the our terms and conditions on which we provide our products including the Customer Terms, Product Terms and any other documents forming our banking agreement.

  4. General

    4.1 We may vary, modify, delete or add to these Term and Conditions by notice to you in accordance with our usual practice and in accordance with any applicable law. This may include giving notice to you by public announcement as set out in Clause 7.3 of Customer Terms.

    4.2 We may substitute benefits with similar value and at any time without prior notice and without assigning reasons thereof.

    4.3 We may cancel or withdraw this Promotion at any time.

    4.4 In the case of any disputes arising from or in connection with this Promotion, our decision is final and conclusive.
