Mr. Li is our Platinum credit card holder. He becomes qualified Priority Banking customer during the promotion period and stays qualified for 6 months (600,000 credit card points). Meanwhile, he purchases two designated types of products (200,000 credit card points). Besides, he makes one successful referral for his friend to become the Bank’s qualified Priority Banking customer (300,000 credit card points). Taking Asia Miles for example, 36,000 credit card points can be redeemed for 1,000 Asia Miles. In Mr. Li’s case, he can redeem 30,000 Asia Miles with his 1,100,000 Standard Chartered Bank credit card points. Such mileages can be used to redeem two roundtrip tickets between Shanghai and Seoul!

Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions :
  1. Qualified Priority Banking customers refer to:
    1. 1) Customers who maintain a daily average amount no less than RMB 500,000 (or an equivalent amount in foreign currency) in deposits and/or investments with the Bank every month; or
    2. 2) Customers enter into a mortgage loan contract with the Bank with amount no less than RMB 2,000,000 (or an equivalent amount in foreign currency) will also be eligible for Priority Banking membership before the said loan contract is terminated.
  2. Standard Chartered Bank credit card holders will get credit card points. Standard Chartered Bank non credit card holders will get JD coupons.
  3. If customers hold both Platinum and Gold credit cards, points will go to the Platinum credit card.
  4. For “Welcome Reward”, customers must qualify before 30 June 2017.
  5. The three rewards under “Welcome Reward” can be accumulated, but each can only be rewarded once.
  6. For “Asset Allocation Reward”, customers must purchase at least 2 types of products and products of the same type only count once. The maximum reward under “Assets Allocation Reward” for each customer is RMB 500 JD coupon or 500,000 credit card points.
  7. Ticket size of RMB time deposit must be no less than RMB 100,000 for “Assets Allocation Reward”.
  8. This promotion is only available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Xiamen and Chongqing.
  9. A wealth management product is not a deposit and carries investment risks. Please exercise caution when you invest.
