Microfinance in Indonesia

We're providing finance to over 30,000 people in Indonesia, who wouldn't otherwise have access.

Growing businesses in Indonesia

Indonesia microfinance

We're helping improve the distribution of lending to microfinance institutions (MFIs) across Indonesia, through our US$5.2 million credit financing deal with local bank Andara.

Supporting Indonesia’s economy

Indonesia’s microfinance sector is one of the largest in the world, with more than 56 million Indonesians self employed through small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

By enabling Bank Andara to reach out to local MFIs, we can support and promote the growth of these businesses to help more micro entrepreneurs access capital.

We're also supporting female entrepreneurs, with over 400 women micro entrepreneurs in Indonesia having received financial literacy training through our community programme since 2011.
