Pam Walkden

Pam Walkden was appointed as Group Head, Human Resources in April 2016, where she is responsible for driving the People strategy for the Bank.

Pam joined the Bank in 1991 and has held a number of key roles across the organisation including Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Group Head of Internal Audit and Group Head of ALM. In July 2009, Pam moved to become Group Treasurer where she was responsible for the management of the Group’s balance sheet. In 2014, she became Group Business Head, Regions working closely with the Global Business Heads and Regional Chief Executive Officers. In July 2015, Pam was also appointed as interim Group Chief Risk Officer.

Pam graduated from Cambridge University in 1981 with a Masters degree in Economics and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Pam is married with two step children (and two Labradors). Her interests include sport and music, especially the piano.
