1.1 The following terms and conditions set out how you can enter for a chance to win a special feature in Standard Chartered Bank’s 2021/22 End of Season campaign by posting a self-portrait photo and your favourite Liverpool FC moment of the 21/22 season, in the form of text, on your Instagram and/or Twitter social media profile; available for public submission ("Promotion").
1.2 The sponsors of this Promotion are Standard Chartered Bank of 1 Basinghall Avenue, London, EC2V 5DD and Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited of Anfield Road, Liverpool L4 0TH ("Sponsors"). The “Administrator of the Promotion” is IPG DXTRA (Singapore) Pte Ltd (trading as Octagon Sports & Entertainment Marketing).
1.3 By entering the Promotion, you agree to be unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions and that the decisions of Sponsors shall be final and binding in all respects. A copy of these terms and conditions shall be available at the relevant section of Standard Chartered’s website https://www.sc.com/en/about/sponsorship-liverpool%20-football-club/lfc-terms-and-conditions/ for the duration of the Promotion.

2.1 This Promotion is open only to entrants globally.
You must be at least 18 years of age or (if higher) the age of majority in the jurisdiction or state where you reside to participate in the Promotion. If you are under the age of majority in the jurisdiction or state within a jurisdiction where you reside, you cannot participate in the Promotion and even if you do participate and win, you will not be awarded the Prize.
2.2 The Promotion is not open to:
(a) directors and employees of the Sponsors or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers or advertising and promotion agencies of the Sponsors or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and/or (b) above.
2.3 No registration is required
2.4 In entering the Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any Prize you may win.
3. STARTING DATE AND CLOSING DATE
3.1 The Promotion begins on 6th April 2022, Wednesday at 10am, BST (“Opening Date”) and ends on 30th April 2022, Saturday at 6pm, BST (“Closing Date”).
3.2 Only entries submitted within this timeframe shall be eligible to participate in the Promotion. All entries received after the Closing Date will not be eligible.
There will be ten (10) winners from Twitter and ten (10) winners from Instagram chosen by the judging panel. Each winner will feature in the Sponsors' 2021/22 End of Season campaign assets which will be displayed on the Sponsors' various advertising media channels during the campaign period which is held between 16 May 2022 to 31 May 2023 (a “Prize”). The campaign assets will be a set of videos, visuals and photographs edited to include each winners submitted entry (e.g. submitted self-portrait image and the text on their favourite Liverpool FC moment may be used as a prop during the film shoot with a Liverpool FC players at Anfield Stadium). No further filming or content will be requested from the winner, but the winner’s submitted entry may be adapted to feature in the campaign assets as decided by the Sponsors. Full channel list below:
· Out-of-home channels, inclusive of physical spaces around Anfield Stadium, Liverpool e.g. bus stops, billboards etcetera.
· Social channels, not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
· Digital channels, inclusive of Sponsors' webpages and apps, where applicable
Prizes are not negotiable or transferable. Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the Prize. The Sponsors reserve the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The number of winners may be reduced if there are not enough entries to be judged.
5. HOW TO ENTER
5.1 To enter, an entrant must:
(a) Submit one (1) photo of participant themselves along with one (1) written text submission, in English language only, of their favourite Liverpool FC moment of the 2021/22 season, and the reason why, in a single social post;
(b) Enter the Promotion by uploading the materials listed in (a) onto the participant’s social media page on Twitter, or Instagram; Participants will need to ensure their Twitter and/or Instagram profile is public only for the duration of the Promotion and  days after the Closing Date in order for their entry to be recognised and judged.
(c) Enter by using the hashtag #SCHallOfFans in order for us to recognise the entry.

6. ENTRY LIMITATIONS
6.1 There is a limit of one (1) entry per social media platform (i.e. Twitter, Instagram), per person.
6.2 The Sponsors will not accept entries that are: automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties; completed in bulk; incomplete; illegible; altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or photocopies and not original. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other web site or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Promotion. Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, including but not limited to the use of any device to automate the entry process, is prohibited and any entries deemed by the Sponsors, in its sole discretion, to have been submitted in this manner will be void. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to the Sponsors' satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.
6.3 A Twitter and/or Instagram account is required for entry and the entrant may be required to show proof that the registration of their account occurred before the beginning of the promotion. Entrants must be the owner of the account from which from which the entry is received. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or entry, the authorized account holder of the account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder for the account.
6.4 Any entrant submitting multiple entries on a single social media platform (i.e. Twitter, Instagram) will not be eligible for the Promotion. In the event that an entrant submits multiple entries on either of the accepted social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Instagram), only the first entry in compliance with all the conditions will be accepted.
6.5 The Sponsors reserve the right to remove any offensive, infringing or inappropriate posts on the Sponsors' social media channels and elsewhere in connection with the Promotion and to exclude those responsible for such posts from the Promotion.
7. SUBMISSION OF CONTENT
7.1 Where the terms of the Promotion require the submission or posting of content, you must not:
(a) violate any rules, guidelines or instructions that the Sponsors may convey regarding the Promotion;
(b) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Promotion;
(c) engage in any action that may adversely affect other entrants, or, where a judging panel has been appointed, manipulate the judgment or evaluation of promotion entries;
(d) disparage the Sponsors or harm their goodwill or reputation;
(e) breach the security of the Sponsors' website or App or any promotion systems used or identify any security vulnerabilities in them;
(f) impersonate any person or entity, or make any false statement pertaining to your identity; or
(g) engage in any activity that constitutes or encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable laws, including laws governing privacy, defamation, mass email, spam, export control, consumer protection, unfair competition and false advertising.
7.2 Your entry must not include content:
(a) that may infringe the rights of other parties, including patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, a person's data protection rights, rights to privacy or publicity rights;
(b) that may depict or identify minors, their personal details, their address or ways to contact them;
(c) that is or appears to be of commercial nature, including advertisements, sponsorships, solicitations, endorsements and public relations material;
(d) that is false, inaccurate or misleading;
(e) that may include software viruses, spyware or any other malicious applications;
(f) that may encourage, support, assist, or advise in the commission of a criminal offense;
(g) whose publication is prohibited by any applicable laws; or
(h) that may be threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libellous, vulgar, discriminatory, violent, obscene or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
7.3 Any post required for or related to the Promotion on social media that you publish on or through your Twitter and/or Instagram account must include:
(a) the following hashtags: #ad (which must be placed prominently at the beginning of the post)
Any entrant that does not tag their post in accordance with these terms and conditions shall be automatically disqualified, and their entry shall be deemed to be invalid.
8. SELECTION OF WINNERS
8.1 Within  day of the Closing Date, the entries will be judged by a panel of judges based on the submitted favourite Liverpool FC moment fulfilling the following criteria:
(a) 50% creativity (written submission to be unique and interesting); and;
(b) 50% relevance (chosen moment must be instrumental in the result of the game or Liverpool FC team’s performance)
8.2 A list of names of the judges can be requested from the Bank, by sending an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org from the Closing Date for a period of one month. The judging panel consists of 3 individuals independent from the administration of the promotion but who work on Liverpool FC campaigns within the Administrator of the Promotion, the Sponsors and Liverpool FC. They will review the entries submitted and approve the selection of winners.
9. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
9.1 The Winner(s) of the Promotion will be notified by direct message on the social media platform in which they uploaded their Promotion entry within  days of the Closing Date as below. The decision of the judges nominated by the Sponsors is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
(a) Winners selected on Twitter will be notified by the @We_StandRed social media handle
(b) Winners selected on Instagram will be notified by the @OctagonAPAC social media handle.
9.2 Except to the extent that the Sponsors are prevented by law from doing so, the Sponsors will publish the surname and country of residence of the Winner(s) on the Sponsors' website https://www.sc.com/en/about/sponsorship-liverpool%20-football-club/lfc-terms-and-conditions/ within  days of the Closing Date. The Sponsors shall also publish the results of the Promotion where required by applicable law.
9.3 If you object to any or all of your surname, country and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Administrator of the Promotion at email@example.com. In such circumstances, the Sponsors may still provide the information and winning entry to a relevant regulator on request.
10. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
10.1 The Administrator of the Promotion will make reasonable efforts to contact each Winner via direct message using the handles as stated in clause 9.1 within  days of the Closing Date. Each Winner must respond to the winner notification direct message to confirm their acceptance of the Prize and sign and return a Waiver of Liability and Model Release Agreement within  days of the being notified as a Winner.
10.2 If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their Prize within  days of receiving notification of the same, the Sponsors reserve the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected according to the criteria set out in the “Selection of Winners” above in place of a Winner that cannot be contacted.
10.3 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on a Winner's behalf. The Sponsors do not accept any responsibility if a Winner is not able to take up the Prize.
11.1 To be announced as a Winner, and to claim a Prize, the entrant must have complied with and remain in compliance with these terms and conditions.
11.2 If a potential Winner does not comply with all of the above requirements within the above time frames, or does not otherwise comply with these terms and conditions, the Sponsors may disqualify the entrant without any liability to that entrant and select a replacement Winner.
11.3 The Sponsors may employ measures to detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activities in connection with the Promotion. The Sponsors reserve its right to disqualify you, without prior notice and without liability to you, if the Sponsors, in its sole discretion, believe that you have engaged in fraudulent or abusive activities in connection with the Promotion.
12. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY
12.1 By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsors and its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Promotion, inability to participate in the promotion, or receipt of, use or misuse of any Prize to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
12.2 To the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, the Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person’s computer account resulting from participating in this Promotion, or mis-transcribed data; (3) unauthorized human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s); (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen post; (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize; or (7) any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Promotion or any Promotion-related activity, or from entrants’ acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any Prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Promotion, if it is possible.
12.3 Nothing in this section shall exclude the Released Parties' liability for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligent behaviour or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law. In the event of any liability on the part of the Sponsors, its employees, agents, representatives or distributors due to a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations the Sponsors' liability are limited to typically foreseeable damages.
12.4 In the event that the Sponsors are prevented from awarding Prizes or continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labour dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared), epidemic, pandemic, or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Sponsors' control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, the Sponsors shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated before the designated end date, the Sponsors will (if possible and to the extent permitted by applicable law) select the Winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination.
13. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER
13.1 This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter and/or Instagram. Your use of the Twitter and/or Instagram is governed by Twitter and/or Instagram privacy notice and terms of service, which are available at their respective sites
13.2 Twitter and/or Instagram is fully released (by you and by the Sponsors) from all liability that may arise from any matter related to the Promotion, and Twitter and/or Instagram may not be held liable for any claim arising from your participation in the Promotion or taking up a Prize.
13.3 Entrant acknowledges that, by his/her actions in re-tweeting any post, that entrant’s post shall be publicly visible on Twitter, and entrant agrees that the post may be shared by third parties in various social media outlets and that the Sponsors and/or Twitter and/or Instagram is not responsible for any reposting or other use of its posts by third parties.
14.1 The Prize may be taxable income under the laws applicable to the Winner(s). To the extent permitted by applicable laws, any taxes applicable to the Prize are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Winner(s). The Winner(s) are solely responsible for reporting the Prize to the relevant tax authorities, and paying all taxes applicable to the Prize, as required by the applicable tax laws. Upon request from the Sponsors, the Winner(s) will promptly complete and submit to the Sponsors all tax forms, certificates or authorizations as may be necessary under the applicable tax laws. If required by law, the Sponsors reserve the right to withhold and remit to the appropriate taxing authorities the amount of any tax or taxes due. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, any stamp duty payable in respect of these terms and conditions, and any penalties for the non-payment thereof (if any), shall be borne by you.
15. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
15.1 All entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Sponsors will become the property of the Sponsors on receipt.
15.2 You are solely responsible for your promotion entry and its content. When you submit a promotion entry and accompanying material, you confirm that:
(a) all text, images and forming part of the entry is solely your original creation and you are the sole rightful owner of all intellectual property rights associated with the entry;
(b) you are lawfully entitled to grant the licenses and waivers set forth below and there are no conflicting agreements in place that restrict usage of such content;
(c) you have lawfully obtained the valid consent of all individuals depicted or shown in the promotion entry (if any), to use their image, likeness and publicity rights, for the purposes contemplated by these terms and any such individuals have waived all rights they may have in relation to such use;
(d) if the entry shows or contains information about a person under 18 or the age of majority in the relevant jurisdiction, you have obtained parental or guardian consent for the purposes of the entry; and
(e) all tags associated with the content are accurate.
15.3 By submitting your entry and any accompanying material, you agree, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws:
(a) to grant the Sponsors a royalty-free, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide, and irrevocable right and licence, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, modify, re-publish, translate, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, perform, store, or otherwise utilise, re-format, sell, transfer and sub-licence the entry and any accompanying materials, in whole or in part, in any form, media or technology known or hereafter developed (including, but not limited to, television, radio, motion pictures, streaming, downloads, online, physical media, print and public display) and for any purpose (including, but not limited to, advertising and promotional purposes) throughout the world in perpetuity (and in any event for a period of not less than 50 (fifty) years as permitted pursuant to applicable laws or where not so permitted, for a period of 10 (ten) years or the longest period which is permitted); and
(b) to waive all moral rights, in and to your entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and local equivalent laws and statutes as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations; and
(c) to execute any such documents and perform such acts as may be required or as deemed necessary by Sponsors for the purpose of giving full effect to this Section 15.
15.4 You agree that the Sponsors may, but are not required to, make your entry and your photo available on Sponsors' website https://www.sc.com/en/about/sponsorship-liverpool-football-club/, its social media pages, and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Promotion.
16. DATA PROTECTION
16.1 The Sponsors collect and use personal data through the Administrate of the Promotion to conduct the Promotion, as is necessary for the Sponsors to be able to perform its agreement with you and in order to comply with its legal obligations, including to select the winners, deliver the prizes and publish the results (as required by advertising regulations).
17. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISICTION
17.1 The Promotion, these terms and conditions and any dispute arising therefrom shall be governed by English law. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you under your own laws and such provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law of your jurisdiction.
17.2 The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This choice of jurisdiction shall not limit your right to bring proceedings, including third party proceedings, in any other court of competent jurisdiction, and the bringing or continuing of proceedings in any one or more jurisdictions shall not preclude the bringing of proceedings in any other jurisdiction, whether concurrently or not, if and to the extent permitted by applicable laws. All claims must be brought solely in each party’s individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or collective proceeding. THE PARTIES HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS THEY MAY HAVE TO A TRIAL BY JURY IN REGARD TO ANY CLAIMS AND FURTHER WAIVE ANY RIGHT THEY MAY HAVE TO PURSUE OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS OR COLLECTIVE ACTION PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIMS BETWEEN THE PARTICPANT AND THE SPONSORS.

18.2 The Sponsors reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
18.3 These terms and conditions cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued in accordance with law by a duly authorized representative of the Sponsors.
18.4 If any provision(s) of these terms and conditions (or any part thereof) are held to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the invalidity or unenforceability of any provisions (or any part thereof) shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision and all remaining provisions (or any part thereof) hereof will remain in full force and effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable or illegal provision were not contained herein.
18.5 You may not assign or delegate these terms and conditions or any of your rights and obligations hereunder. Any purported assignment shall be null and void.
18.6 The original version of these terms and conditions is drafted in the English language. If these terms and conditions are translated into any other language, the English language version shall prevail.

Summary of how we use your data
When personal data is collected and used for the purposes of the Promotion, the Bank, as identified as the Promoter in the Official Rules (“Bank”, “we” or “us”), is the controller of your personal data. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we use the personal data that we collect about you.
We may need to collect and use your personal data for various reasons including (a) managing the Promotion and processing any Promotion entries, and (b) if you are the Winner, contacting you to inform you that you have won the Prize, and to the extent permitted by law, announcing you (by surname and country of residence) as Winner.
We collect and process personal data about you when you enter the Promotion which, includes your Twitter and/or Instagram social media handle and entry consisting of your photo and written submission your declaration that you have read, understood and agreed to abide and be bound by the Official Rules and any other contact information you may provide to us:
- to administer and manage the Promotion including vetting of entries (including your date of birth for winners to verify eligibility for a Prize).
- to communicate with you, should you be the Winner, including as required in order to organise and book or deliver the Prize (including information required to process and sign a Waiver of Liability and Model Release).
- to communicate any updates or changes to the Promotion, including notifying the Winner on the social media platform (i.e. Twitter and/or Instagram) in which the Promotion entry was submitted on.
We process this personal data on the basis of the contract you enter into under the Official Rules, which includes administering the Promotion and contacting the Winner(s) (performance of a contract), on the basis of our legitimate interest to announce to the public the name and country of residence of the Winner(s) (legitimate interests), and in compliance with applicable advertising rules (legal obligation). In addition to notifying and announcing you as a Winner, we may wish to use your personal data in promotional or marketing materials – in this case, we will ask for your specific consent.
Who will we share this data with, where and when?
We will share your personal data with third party service providers, Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited and IPG DXTRA (Singapore) Pte Ltd (trading as Octagon Sports & Entertainment Marketing), who process it on our behalf as data processors for the purposes of running the Promotion and in order to organise the delivery of the Prize on behalf of the Bank. Our service providers only use your personal data in accordance with our strict instructions to provide the relevant services and are not permitted to use your personal data for their own purposes, unless authorised by us to do so.
We may also disclose your personal data to third parties if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with any legal obligation.
What rights do I have?
Subject to applicable law, you have a number of rights in relation to the way we process your personal data.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data; to correct, delete or restrict (stop any active) processing of your personal data; and, to the extent required under applicable law, to obtain the personal data you provide to us for a contract or with your consent in a structured, machine readable format.
Wherever we rely on your consent, you will be able to withdraw that consent, although we may have other legal grounds for processing your data for other purposes, such as those set out above.
These rights may be limited, for example if fulfilling your request would reveal personal data about another person, or if you ask us to delete personal data which we are required by law to keep or have compelling legitimate interests in keeping.
How long will you retain my data?
We retain personal data we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need. In this case, your personal data will be kept for as long as is necessary to administer the Promotion, and shall be deleted only once we determine that the Promotion has been completed (which shall usually be after we have selected and announced the Winner(s) and awarded any Prize(s)) unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
