In this series, we look at the shared life lessons football has taught our Goal Programme alumni and Liverpool FC Women players. ‘Goal’ uses sport, including football, to support women to reach their full potential and realise that no dream is too small.
In our final episode, Damaris, our Goal alumni and referee, and Liverpool FC Women’s Taylor Hinds share with us how football has given them the self-belief and discipline to enable them to realise their dreams of becoming a referee and a professional player.
Our Goal Programme uses sport and play-based learning to transform the lives of adolescent girls to reach their potential to become economic leaders in their families and communities. Goal is taught in 24 countries and has empowered over 600,000 girls since 2006.
