David Soloff

David has nearly two decades of experience in capital markets, data infrastructure and tech start-ups. He co-founded Premise, a technology company based in San-Francisco. Using mobile software, the company generates micro and macro insights from ground-sourced data collected by its network of contributors in nearly 40 countries. Premise serves some of the world’s largest commercial, financial and government institutions. David also serves on the advisory board of Columbia University’s Institute for Data Sciences, and is also a partner with Bowery Capital, an early stage venture fund. He holds a PhD (ABD) from Berkeley, where he studied social, economic and linguistic history of the Greek and Roman world, and holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia, graduating magna cum laude in Near Eastern Linguistics.
