Rob Tims
Managing Director, Oil and Gas
Rob has nearly 25 years of oil and gas experience in both banking and industry in various roles covering M&A, finance, business development and engineering. He joined Standard Chartered’s oil and gas project finance team in 2005 before transferring into M&A Advisory, Oil and Gas, following the acquisition of Harrison Lovegrove in 2007. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Rob worked for Kleinwort Benson in project finance and advisory, British Borneo Oil & Gas in business development and Chase Manhattan in both finance and M&A roles. He holds a degree in Mathematics from The Queen’s College, Oxford and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London.
