Vasuki Shastry

Based in London, Vasuki is responsible for coordinating our policies and positioning on political matters, reputational risk, and regulatory issues and oversees the Bank’s global engagement on sustainability and community investment. Previously, he worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington for 14 years, most recently as global head, public affairs; headed the communications department of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and worked as a financial journalist for a number of publications in India, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. Vasuki serves on the board of the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC) and is part of Catalyst UK, a global network of business advocates who are invited by the UK Government to promote UK excellence internationally.
