Our consumer survey

Our poll of 12,000 adults across Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mainland China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE, the UK and the US has found that the new consumer is more digital, cautious and conscientious.

Key findings:

  • 78% feel they have the digital skills needed to thrive
  • 64% are willing to retrain or acquire new skills
  • 65%  would set up a second income stream
  • 62% are now more likely to track their spending
  • 52% favour sustainably sourced products
  • 46% increased spending in July compared to June
