Today, we celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development by illustrating one of the many ways we’re building on our unique diversity: our Chinese ‘corridor bankers’.
By travelling to and working in different countries and continents, our Chinese-speaking colleagues are using their language skills, combined with their business knowledge, to help smooth the process when collaborating with Chinese-speaking businesses and clients. And while they do this, our corridor bankers are gaining enriching experiences, expanding their horizons, and developing themselves. Their stories are inspiring, and offer a welcome reminder of the importance of building our cultural knowledge, which helps us to collaborate.
