Jasmine was appointed an independent non-executive director of Standard Chartered PLC in April 2015. She was appointed to the Court of Standard Chartered Bank in April 2019.

Career
Jasmine began her career in international marketing in the technology sector and joined Thomson Financial in 1994, becoming managing director of the Electronic Settlements Group. After completing the Stanford Executive Program, Jasmine set up one of Oxfam’s first regional offices, managing nine country operations in West Africa, later becoming international director responsible for Oxfam’s programmes worldwide. Jasmine joined Save the Children in 2005, where she was responsible for revitalising one of the UK’s most established charities. In 2010, she was appointed as Save the Children’s first international chief executive officer, a position she held until she stepped down in 2015. Jasmine stepped down as a non-executive director from the Board of BT Group plc in December 2019 and as chief executive of London First in March 2021, a business campaigning group with a mission to make London the best city in the world to do business.
External appointments
Jasmine became Chair of Travis Perkins plc in March 2021 and is a non-executive director of WPP plc and Compagnie Financière Richemont SA.
