Stephan Bucher
Executive Director, FI Coverage – CIC
Stephan is an Executive Director in Standard Chartered Bank AG, Germany, covering a portfolio of German and Dutch Financial Institutions. Prior to his role, Stephan was Head Transaction Banking Origination at Royal Bank of Scotland, Germany and responsible for the group’s sales activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Stephan started his career at Dresdner Bank where he held various roles including Senior Credit Officer for FI and Director in the Global Loans & International Products Division having been based in Germany, UK and U.A.E. Stephan studied at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, INSEAD, France and Frankfurt School of Finance, Germany from where he also holds an Executive MBA.
