Deniz Harut is Executive Director, Head of Sustainable Finance (Europe & America) at Standard Chartered. She has more than fifteen years’ experience in emerging markets, international development finance and impact investing, advising governments, companies, investors and sovereigns for significant societal benefit.
Her current work includes developing a data science-backed gender-smart investment platform to unlock capital for female leadership initiatives, entrepreneurs and female-led SMEs. She has secured pre-seed funding and upon completion this will be the world’s first algorithm-based investment platform to prove the economic profit benefits of gender equality and diversity in business.
Deniz is Honorary Treasurer at FoodCycle not-for-profit, Member of the Board of Trustees at RichMix arts centre in East London, Founder-Director of Veggie Option sustainable living platform, and a Cordon Bleu Certified Chef.
