Standard Chartered TermAssure is an insurance product designed to secure your future and the future of your dependants against unforeseen circumstances such as critical illness, permanent disability and death, thus cushioning yourself and your dependants with a guaranteed income.

  • The maximum age at entry should be less than or equal to 59 years and the minimum age at inception is 18 years
  • The minimum term is 5 years and maximum term is 30 years

Benefits

  • Lump sum payout – in the event that you pass away or become permanently disabled, TermAssure will pay out a lump sum equal to the sum assured.
  • Critical illness benefit – this pays out a percentage of the sum assured in the event of the policy holder being diagnosed with a critical illness.
  • The plan will pay out a lump sum when the covered event of death or critical illness occurs during the time horizon you opt for.
  • You, the policyholder, determine both the sum assured and the duration of the plan.
