A. General Terms and Conditions:
  1. The promotion period is from 1 March to 30 April 2017 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period").

  2. Unless otherwise specified, to be eligible for the Promotion, cardholders of the following credit cards (“Cardholders”) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"), including Standard Chartered Credit Card and its Co-branded Card, Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Credit Card, Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card (except Standard Chartered Business Card and Standard Chartered Corporate Card) and MANHATTAN Credit Card and its Co-branded Card (the "Eligible Cards”) are required to settle payment with the Eligible Cards.

  3. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or discounts, and is non-transferable or exchangeable for cash or other products. However, the Promotion can be used in conjunction with the HK$25 instant discount Year-round Offer. HK$25 instant discount Year-round Offer is not applicable to Watsons eStore.

  5. The Bank will verify transaction records to confirm Cardholders' eligibility for this Promotion. In case of discrepancy between the Bank's computer records and details recorded on the credit card sales slip, the Bank's computer records shall prevail.

  6. If Cardholders have cancelled any related transaction which had been included in calculating the Promotion after the receipt of the CashBack, the Bank has the right to debit the equivalent value of the CashBack as an administration fee from the Eligible Card account without further notice.

  7. Cardholders are required to keep the relevant original sales receipts and credit card sales slips for inspection upon request by the Bank. In case of disputes, Cardholders are required to submit the relevant original sale receipt(s), credit card sales slip(s) and/or relevant documents or proofs for further investigation by the Bank. All relevant documents submitted to the Bank will not be returned.

  8. Cardholders understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the products/services purchased from the Merchant. The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the products/services, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of goods and/or services provided by the Merchant, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorised representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with this Promotion of the offers or in making available the offers or the products and/or services under the Promotion, by the Merchant, its employees, officers or agents.

  9. The Bank and the Merchant reserve the right to alter, extend or terminate the Promotion and amend the terms and conditions at any time. All matters or disputes in connection with the Promotion/offers set out in these terms and conditions will be subject to the final decision of the Bank and the Merchant.

  10. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

B. Terms and Conditions of “HK$50 CashBack Offer” (“CashBack Offer”):
  1. To be eligible for the Promotion, Cardholders must register their Eligible Cards via website at sc.com/hk/watsons from the first day (starting at 09:00) to the last day (ending at 23:59) during the Promotion Period. Each Eligible Card account is required to register once only. Cardholders will receive a reference number upon successful registration. Cardholders are required to keep the reference code for verification. All registered information will be recorded, which cannot be cancelled, changed or exchanged.

  2. Subject to Clauses 3, 4 and 5 of Section B, upon making:
    a. Monthly accumulated transactions (as defined in Clause 2 of Section B below) on retail purchase and/or cash advance of HK$3,000 or above each month during the Promotion Period (the “Monthly Accumulated Transaction”); and

    b. a single net retail purchase transaction (after deducting all discounts and the value of any gift vouchers or other discounts used, except HK$25 Instant Discount Year-round Offer) of HK$500 or above at the Watsons (the “Merchant”) shops in Hong Kong or on Watsons eStore (“Eligible Transaction”) with the Eligible Card during the Promotion Period, Cardholders are entitled to HK$50 CashBack per Eligible Transaction. (The Promotion can be used in conjunction with HK$25 Instant Discount Year-round Offer. HK$25 instant discount Year-round Offer is not applicable to Watsons eStore.)


    The CashBack amount is subject to a cap of HK$50 CashBack per Eligible Transaction, up to a maximum of HK$100 CashBack per month and a maximum of HK$200 throughout the Promotion Period as defined in the table below. Transactions made by the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders of the same Eligible Card number will be counted collectively.

Monthly Accumulated Transactions include all local and overseas retail purchases, online purchase, cash advance, mail order, Watsons eStore, phone order, and the total new principal amount of Interest-free Instalment Plan (as defined in Clause 6 of Section B below) during the Promotion Period. They do NOT include auto payment, utilities bill, insurance payment, Octopus Automatic Add-Value amount, billed monthly instalment of Interest-free Instalment Plan, handling fee, annual fee, past due charges, overlimit charges, interest/finance charges, balance transfer amount and interests, "Credit-to-Cash" Preferential Annual Rate Program amount and interests/handling fee, "Instalment Credit" Plan or billed monthly instalment of "Statement Instalment Plan" and interest/handling fee, online bill payment, casino chip exchange and tax payment. Any unposted/cancelled/refunded/falsified and any unauthorised transactions are also excluded. For the spending amount of Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Credit Card in Renminbi (“CNY”), a designated conversion rate of 1.26 will be used to calculate the accumulated spending requirement of this Promotion, that is, CNY100 equivalent to HKD126 for the calculation of the accumulated spending requirement of this Promotion. The Bank reserves the right to determine the final designated conversion rate for calculation of the accumulated spending requirement in the Promotion without further notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank should be final.

  4. Eligible Transaction does not include the transaction made on Watsons Member Day, the environmental levy on shopping bags, phone bill payment, prepaid phone cards or phone card reload services, Octopus Card Reload services, purchase of gift vouchers, fixed price product, redeemable products, Super red hot deal items, Kai Tai counters, An Kung Niu Huang Wan, Chinese medicine practitioner and Dietician service, prescription products at pharmacy counters, Sornado, Lingzhi and Cordyceps products, Home of Swallow counters, adult milk powder, whole Brand’s bird’s nest & chicken essence range, Squina products, SK-II products, all cosmetics counters, infant milk powder, KELO-COTE Advanced Scar Gel, ILLUMA Ready to Feed IMF, hair cut & styling service, all other transactions without sales slips or any unauthorised transactions. Any unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified transactions are also excluded.

  5. All Eligible Transactions must be posted on or before 7 May 2017 based on the transaction date as shown on the credit card monthly statement.

  6. The total new principal amount of Interest-free Instalment Plan is the amount of the posted first instalment multiplied by the total number of instalments.

  7. The CashBack earned will be shown on the “360° Rewards” online redemption platform on or before 31 July 2017 (the “Fulfilment Date”), and will not be automatically credited to Cardholders’ accounts, but can be freely redeemed for cash or gifts under the online catalogue of the platform. The CashBack will be given in Hong Kong dollars and the minimum threshold for CashBack redemption is HK$50 per account. Redemption of CashBack is subject to relevant terms and conditions.   8. Registered Cardholders shall notify the Bank if they do not receive the CashBack 1 month after the Fulfilment Date; otherwise, the Bank accepts no liability and will not be liable for any compensation.

  9. The Eligible Cards accounts must be valid and in good financial standing at the time of the CashBack is credited; otherwise the offer will be forfeited without further notice. The CashBack amount cannot be drawn as cash advance, is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and cannot offset credit card payment.

C. Terms and Conditions of “Apple Pay HK$50 CashBack Promotion” (the “Apple Pay CashBack Offer”):
  1. The Apple Pay CashBack Offer is not eligible for Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Credit Card, Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card, Standard Chartered Business Card and Standard Chartered Corporate Card.

  2. Cardholders who fulfil all of (i)–(ii) below are eligible for the Apple Pay CashBack Offer:

    (i). Did not have any active token and/or made any Apple Pay transaction with any Eligible Card before the commencement of the Promotion Period; and

    (ii). Add the Eligible Cards to Apple Pay during the Promotion Period

  3. The Apple Pay CashBack Offer can be used in conjunction with the “Up to 15% Cash Rewards at Watsons” and any other promotional offers or discounts. However, the Apple Pay CashBack Offer is non-transferable or exchangeable for cash or other products, and is not applicable to Watsons eStore.“

  4.
