A.General Terms and Conditions for Priority Banking Member-get-member Referral Program
1. Referee may be entitled to rewards under Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited’s (the “Bank”) other promotional offer(s), which is/are separate from the Referral Program and is/are under separate terms and conditions. Please check with the Bank’s staff for details.
2. The actual offer that the Eligible Referrer (as defined in 2(a) of Section B below) may enjoy will be the prevailing offer of a certain promotion period during which the submission of the Signed Referral Form/the Signed Referral Form – For Referee, where applicable, falls into.
3. Terms and Conditions of relevant Asia Miles Program apply for redemption and/or use of Asia Miles. For details, please visit www.asiamiles.com. The Bank is not obliged to notify you of any changes or latest announcements of Asia Miles. Clients understand and accept that the Bank is not supplier of the redeemed items (including Asia Miles). The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the Asia Miles and/or redeemed items, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions provided by the supplier, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the Asia Miles and/or redeemed items provided by the supplier, its employees, officers or agents.
4. The Bank reserves the right to vary, modify, extend or terminate all the above offers, and to amend any of the terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. Eligible Referrer’s eligibility for the offer, including but not limited to in respect of the calculation of Eligible Referee’s total balance at the Bank is to be determined based on the Bank’s latest records. In case of disputes, the Bank’s decision and record shall be final and binding.
5. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
 
B. Terms and Conditions for Priority Banking Member-get-member Referral Program
1.
The promotion period is from 1 July to 30 September 2015 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
2.
To be eligible for the Asia Miles or cash rebate under the Priority Banking Member-get-member Referral Program (the “Offer”), both the Eligible Referrer (as defined in 2(a) below) and Eligible Referee (as defined in 2(b) below) must complete and sign the referral form (the “Signed Referral Form”) with all of the following conditions being fulfilled (for online referral cases, the Eligible Referrer is required to complete the Priority Banking Member-get-member Referral Program Registration Form at www.sc.com/hk. Upon successful submission of the Priority Banking Member-get-member Referral Program Registration Form via online, a referral number will be provided. Eligible Referee will then be required to input the referral number in a Referral Form – For Referee and sign and submit the Referral Form – For Referee to any of our branches (the “Signed Referral Form – For Referee”) with all of the following conditions being fulfilled) (collectively as “Successful Referral”):
 
a.
The following conditions are applicable to referrer (“Eligible Referrer”):
 
i. Must be existing clients of the Bank. Business Clients, clients holding Standard Chartered Business Card, clients holding Standard Chartered Corporate Card and/or designated frontline staff of the Bank are not eligible as Eligible Referrer under this program; and
ii. Cannot refer themselves as a new client. Referee who has been successfully referred by one Referrer cannot be repeatedly referred by the same Referrer or other Referrers.
b. The following conditions are applicable to referee (“Eligible Referee”):
 
i. Must NOT hold any product or service with or distributed by the Bank (including but not limited to deposits account, investment services and insurance products underwritten by Prudential and distributed by the Bank) except Standard Chartered credit cards^ in the past 12 months prior to his/her Priority Banking sign-up date; and
ii. Submit the Signed Referral Form or Signed Referral Form – For Referee and sign up for Priority Banking during the Promotion Period; and
iii. Complete the “Customer Investment Profile” questionnaire within 2 weeks from the Priority Banking sign-up date; and
iv. Deposit to the Bank with new funds of no less than HKD1,000,000 by cash, cheque/cashier’s order, inward CHATs, telegraphic transfer from other banks excluding any transfer of funds from any accounts within the Bank (“New Funds”) within 2 weeks from the date of Priority Banking sign-up to grow the customer’s total balance at the Bank. Total Balance includes the aggregate balance of deposit, investments and accumulated premiums of selected Life Assurance Plans under personal account as primary account holder; and
v. Take up or hold HKD Savings Account, HKD Current Account (or any Foreign Currency Savings Account), Priority Banking Credit Card, Standard Chartered ATM Card, and Online Banking (or Phone Banking Services) upon the Priority Banking sign-up. Client must complete the registration of Online Banking or use the Phone Banking Services at least once within 2 weeks from the Banking Plan sign-up date; and
vi. Maintain a total balance of no less than HKD1,000,000 until the relevant designated date below:

The incentive of Asia Miles will be given to Eligible Referrer as per the table below:

Eligible Referrer must maintain an existing Asia Miles Membership Account or set up an Asia Miles Membership Account for the entitlement of the miles. Eligible Referrer must have successfully registered online within Promotion Period with valid Asia Miles membership in the name of the Eligible Referrer at the Bank’s website at www.sc.com/hk to enjoy the relevant Asia Miles. Successful registration cannot be cancelled or modified. The Bank will forward the relevant information, including valid Asia Miles Membership number and full name in English of the Eligible Referrer, and the entitled amount of miles, if any, to Asia Miles by March 2016. Miles will be credited into relevant account within 4 to 6 weeks thereafter. In case information submitted is incorrect or insufficient as considered by the Bank or Asia Miles or if any of the criteria relating to this Offer has not been met, the Bank reserves the right to cancel or forfeit absolutely the entitlement under this Offer.

As an alternative to the Asia Miles offer above, if any information submitted via online registration is incorrect or insufficient for Asia Miles entitlement, cash rebate will be available to Eligible Referrer as per table shown below:

The Bank will credit the cash rebate to respective HKD deposit account (exclude MortgageOne® Account and Mortgage $aver Current Account) held by the Eligible Referrer in sole name or in the capacity as primary account holder for joint account by March 2016 in the following sequence:
  i. Sub-account under Integrated Deposits Account;
  ii. Current Account;
  iii. Statement Savings;
  iv. Passbook Savings
  If Eligible Referrer has no valid HKD deposit account, the Bank will credit to Eligible Referrer’s USD deposit account as above sequence. If Eligible Referrer has more than one account under same account type, the Bank will select any one of the accounts with the latest account opening date for the crediting at its discretion. Notification will be made to the Eligible Referrer upon crediting of cash rebate.
7. If Eligible Referrer has no valid accounts as stated in Clause 6 of Section B, the Bank will credit the relevant amount of cash rebate to the Standard Chartered Credit Card which provided by Eligible Referrer by March 2016. A notification will be made to the Eligible Referrer upon the cash rebate is credited.
8. If Eligible Referrer is entitled to the Offer as well as other promotional offers, the Bank reserves the right to grant the Eligible Referrer one of or part of the prevailing offer or other offers. For avoidance of doubt, Eligible Referrer who is eligible for other Member-get-member offer will not be entitled to this Offer. Separate terms and conditions apply to other promotional offers of the Bank. Please check with the Bank’s staff for details.
9. Eligible Referees’ subscription for Priority Banking and the relevant banking products and services mentioned under clause 2(b) and the Eligible Referrer’s banking services with the Bank must remain valid at the time of the Asia Miles or cash rebate is credited to the Eligible Referrer under the offers above. Otherwise, the reward under the relevant offers will be forfeited absolutely and not be provided to the Eligible Referrer through any other means.

Standard Chartered credit cards refer to Standard Chartered Credit Card, Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card and Standard Chartered co-branded credit card (including supplementary cards and corporate cards) issued by the Bank.
