Terms & Conditions:

  1. The promotion period is from 1 April 2015 to 30 June 2015 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period").
  2. To be eligible for the cash rebate under the Salary BonusPack Member-get-member Referral Program (the "Referral Offer"), all of the following terms and conditions have to be fulfilled ("Successful Referral"):
    1. The following conditions are applicable to Referrer ("Eligible Referrer"):
      1. Must be existing customers of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"). Customers holding only Standard Chartered Credit Cards, including but not limited to Standard Chartered Credit Card, Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card and Standard Chartered cobranded credit card (including supplementary cards and corporate cards) issued by the Bank, and/or employees of the Bank are not entitled to the Referral Offer; and
      2. Must refer friends or family members ("Referee") who successfully sign up for Basic Services of Salary BonusPack. For details, please refer to clause 2b(i) below; and
      3. Cannot refer themselves as a new customer. Referee who has been successfully referred by one Referrer cannot be repeatedly referred by the same Referrer or other Referrers.
    2. The following conditions are applicable to Referee ("Eligible Referee"):
      1. Must be the primary account holder who has successfully signed up for the Basic Services of Salary BonusPack (including a newly opened Bonus Payroll Account ("BP Account") during the Promotion Period; and
      2. Must NOT use any auto-payroll services with the Bank in the past 12 months prior to his/her Salary BonusPack sign up date; and
      3. Start using the auto-payroll services via the BP Account with the Bank within 2 months since the opening date of the BP Account, and must have 2 consecutive monthly auto-payroll transactions into the BP Account within 3 months since the opening date of the BP Account.
      4. In case of online application, referee must successfully sign up for the Basic Services of Salary BonusPack via the link provided in the respective e-communication.
  3. Referral Offer will be given to Referrer as per table shown below:

  5. The Bank will credit the entitled amount of cash rebate, if applicable, to the HKD deposit account under Eligible referrer’s personal name as primary account holder with the Bank in the following sequence: a) Integrated Deposits Account; b) Current Account; c) Statement Savings and; d) Passbook Savings. If Eligible Referrer has no valid HKD deposit account, the Bank will credit to Eligible Referrer’s USD deposit account as above sequence on or before December 2015. If Eligible Referrer has more than one account under same account type, the Bank will select any one of the accounts with the latest opening date for crediting at its discretion. Notification will be made to the Eligible Referrer upon the cash rebate is credited.
  6. If Eligible Referrer is entitled to the Referrer Offer as well as other promotional offers, the Bank reserves the right to grant the Eligible Referrer one of or part of the prevailing offer or other offers. For avoidance of doubt, Eligible Referrer who is eligible for other payroll referral privileges as may be made available by the Bank from time to time will not be entitled to this Referral Offer.
  7. Eligible Referees’ subscription for Salary BonusPack services and the relevant banking products and services mentioned under clause 2b and the Eligible Referrer’s banking services with the Bank must remain valid at the time of the cash rebate is credited to the Eligible Referrer under the offers above. Otherwise, the reward under the relevant offers will be forfeited absolutely and not be provided to the Eligible Referrer through any other means.
  8. Designated HKD Promotional Savings Interest Rate Offers, Preferential Savings Interest Rate Offer, Salary BonusPack Welcome Offers, Credit Card Welcome Offer, Banking Plan Offer and 5-Year Brokerage Fee Waiver for BUY Securities Transactions for referee will be subject to separate terms and conditions. Please check with the Bank’s staff for details.
  9. The Bank reserves the right to vary, modify or terminate all the above offers, and to amend any of the terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. Eligible Referrer’s eligibility for the Offer, including but not limited to in respect of the calculation of Eligible Referee’s total balance at the Bank is to be determined based on the Bank’s latest record. In case of disputes, the Bank’s decision and record shall be final and binding.
  10. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
