1. Asia Miles Limited will credit the Asia Miles that you are entitled to into your registered Asia Miles membership account within three months from the date of opening of the Asia Miles Time Deposit Account (“AM TD Account”).
2. For Asia Miles Time Deposit Rewards (“AM TD Rewards”), the amount of Asia Miles as shown on this promotion materials are offered by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) on 11 April 2023 for reference only and are not guaranteed. We reserve the right to make any adjustment to the amount of Asia Miles here and as shown on relevant promotion materials from time to time at its sole absolute discretion. 3. In order to enjoy the AM TD Rewards, you must have a valid Asia Miles membership account. Otherwise, you have to set up an Asia Miles membership account through Asia Miles Limited. You must successfully register a valid Asia Miles membership account in your own name and other details as required via Standard Chartered Online Banking (sc.com/hk/login), before month end of the relevant calendar month when opening the AM TD Account.
4. The AM TD Rewards include both 0.01% p.a. interest rate on the AM TD Account and Asia Miles. For AM TD Account in HKD, the interest will be calculated in simple interest and on a 365-day or 366-day basis (for leap year). For AM TD Account in other currencies, the interest will be calculated in simple interest and on a 360-day basis. Early uplift of the Asia Miles Time Deposit is subject to the Bank’s discretion and penalty.
5. For the avoidance of doubt, Asia Miles membership stated herein is referring to the Cathay membership programme. For details please refer to Cathay Membership Programme Terms & Conditions.
6. “New Client” refers to a client who did NOT, in the past 12 months from the date of the current sign up for Priority Banking during the Promotion Period, hold any product or service with or distributed by the Bank (including but not limited to deposit account (in the case of joint account, unless the new client is a primary account holder to the joint account, he/she will not be considered having held any product or service with or distribution by the Bank), investment services and insurance products underwritten by the third party insurer) except Standard Chartered Credit Cards.
7. After the maintenance fee waiver period, if the average daily relationship balance of the Priority Banking client within the quarter falls below HKD1,000,000, a maintenance fee of HKD900 will be charged for the quarter. 9. Priority Banking clients must maintain HKD1,000,000 minimum average daily Relationship Balance in each particular month and must spend at least once in retail transaction (including monthly instalment and bill payment and only those transactions posted in the relevant monthly statement will be counted) with their principal Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard/ Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard – Priority Banking/ Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard – Priority Private or make cash advance in a month with their principal Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard/Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard – Priority Banking/Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard – Priority Private in order to enjoy Priority Banking 360° Rewards (Asia Miles) for that particular month. For the avoidance of doubt, if a client’s average daily Relationship Balance in a particular month falls under HKD1,000,000, he or she shall not be entitled to 360° Rewards (Asia Miles) in that particular month.
10. New cardholders with accumulated eligible transactions of HKD40,000 in the first two months can enjoy:
    – HK$1 = 1 Mile for Standard Chartered Mastercard Card
    – About HK$0.67 = 1 Mile for Standard Chartered Mastercard Card – Priority Banking
    – HK$0.5 = 1 Mile for Standard Chartered Mastercard Card – Priority Private
11. “New Cardholders” are applicants who do not currently hold and have not cancelled any principal card of Standard Chartered Credit Card or MANHATTAN Credit Card issued by the Bank in the past 6 months from the date of approval of their current applications for a principal card of the Standard Chartered Credit Cards.
