Terms and Conditions for the Welcome Offer on Allianz Premium Medical Protect

  1. From 1 April 2019 to 31 December 2019 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”), upon successful application and premium payment made for Allianz Premium Medical Protect underwritten by Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE Hong Kong Branch (“Allianz”), purchased through Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”), customer can enjoy the welcome offer (“Offer”):
  • Allianz Premium Medical Protect : enjoy 10% premium discount in the first year and HK$500 supermarket shopping voucher (“Voucher”)

2. These terms and conditions apply to the Offer only and no reference has been made to any other Allianz insurance policy or any coverage or content thereunder. Customers have read, understood and agreed to the terms of all insurance policies before applying for the relevant insurance.

Promotional Terms and Conditions

  1. The Offer is available to customer upon successful application and premium payment made for the Allianz Premium Medical Protect through the Bank during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Customer”) and is subject to these terms and conditions.
  2. An Eligible Customer who has enjoyed the Offer is not entitled to any other promotional offers relating to Allianz Premium Medical Protect that may be offered during the first year of the Allianz Premium Medical Protect subscribed. The data appearing in Allianz’s records will be conclusive as to the date on which the policy of the relevant insurance product was filed, withdrawn or cancelled.
  3. The Offer is not exchangeable for cash, other item or discount of other denomination.
  4. The Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by its issuer (the “Supplier”). The Bank and Allianz make no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the products, services, or information provided by the Supplier or any supplier, and do not have any obligations or liabilities for any matter arising from or in connection with those products, services, or information.
  5. The Voucher will be mailed to the policyholder(s)’s*^ last known correspondence address in Allianz’s record according to the Voucher Mailing Date as shown in the table below. The Allianz Premium Medical Protect must remain in force when the Voucher is mailed out. The Voucher will not be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen. If you do not receive the Voucher and/or you have other question(s), you shall contact Allianz Customer Service Hotline at 852 8100 2402 for assistance according to the timeline stated below. (Business hours of Allianz Customer Service Hotline: Mon – Fri; 9am – 6pm, except public holidays)

6. No person other than the Eligible Customer, the Bank and Allianz will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms and conditions.

7. Customers understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the products/ services purchased from the insurer. The Bank’s role is limited to distributing the insurance product(s) only and the Bank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the product(s) provided, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of goods and/or services provided by the insurer, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the products/services provided by the insurer, its employees, or officers, except such is arising out of the act, error, omission or negligence of the Bank, its employees, officers, contractors or agents.

8. The Bank and Allianz reserve the right to alter or terminate this Offer and/or amend the terms and conditions at any time without notice.

9. All matters or disputes in relation to the Offer and the interpretation of terms and conditions herein shall be subject to the decision of the Bank and Allianz, which shall be final and binding.

10. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions and/or any details of the Offer, the English version shall prevail.


*The policyholder and the applicant must be the same person.

^The applicant means a person who submits an application for Allianz Premium Medical Protect.
