Free Life Insurance of up to Rp 100 Million*

As the primary cardholder of Visa Black Platinum, you will receive free life insurance protection of up to Rp 100 million if you meet the following criteria:

  • You have used the Visa Black Platinum Standard Chartered credit card for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Minimum of 1 transaction during the first 3 months after receiving the card.
  • Minimum of 1 supplementary card.

Our insurance partner will send the Life insurance certificate to the billing address of cardholders who meet the above criteria. Cardholders who have received the polis will get Life Insurance protection as long as they are Visa Black Platinum Standard Chartered cardholders.

Free Overseas Medical Expense Coverage of up to Rp 100 Million**

You will get an overseas medical expense coverage of up to Rp 100 million if you buy your ticket with Visa Black Platinum or Business Card Platinum Standard Chartered credit card. Coverage is also provided for your spouse and any children below 23 years old, even if they are not supplementary card holders.

Free Travel Accident Insurance of up to Rp 1 Billion**

If you buy your full travel ticket with a Visa Black Platinum, MasterCard Platinum or Business Card Platinum Standard Chartered credit card, you will automatically get travel accident insurance of up to Rp 1 billion. For Gold, Classic and Business Card Gold, coverage is up to Rp 500 million.

If you're a Visa Black Platinum, MasterCard Platinum or Business Card Platinum cardholder, coverage is also provided for your spouse and any children below 23 years old, even if they are not supplementary card holders.

The policyholder is covered for death or any lost body part caused by accident as well.

Credit Guard Plus***

The Credit Guard Plus pays off your outstanding balance with Standard Chartered.

If something unexpected happens, your family will be responsible for your credit card bills. Credit Guard Plus frees them of the responsibility of paying off your credit card bills, ensuring their peace of mind.

Premiums are only at 0.65% of the total outstanding balance of your monthly credit card. Visa Black Platinum, MasterCard Platinum, Business Card Platinum Standard Chartered cardholders can be covered for up to Rp 100 million, Gold Card / Titanium Card / Business Card Gold cardholders will be covered for up to Rp 50 million and Classic cardholders will be covered for up to Rp 7.5 million. Covered is provided for 12 critical diseases, illnesses, accidents or death.

Cancer, Stroke, Renal Failure, Coronary arteries and veins (that need bypass operations), Coma, Paralysis, Chronic Emphysema, Hurt baker excitement, Liver Failure, Encephalities, Excitement Brain Damage (critical), operation for heart valve replacement.
