    Dear Valued Customers,

    According to Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 14/2 / PBI / 2012, the credit card is not allowed to be used outside of the function as payment transactions in retail merchant and cash withdrawals at ATMs. If you are likely to carry cash swipe practice using Standard Chartered Credit Card, in accordance with applicable policies, Standard Chartered Bank has the right to block and deactivate the your Standard Chartered Credit Card.

    Dear Valued Customers,

    Effective January 1, 2015, There will be an additional fee of Rp7500 for each hard copy billing statement printed which will be charged on your next month Standard Chartered billing statement.
    If you have more than one credit cards, the Rp7500 fee for hard copy billing statement will only be charged to one of your cards.

    To avoid the cost of printing invoices, you can register to obtain an electronic monthly statement.

    Dear Valued Customer,

    In accordance with the latest provision of Bank Indonesia, it is hereby informed that starting December 15,2014, Bank Indonesia will impose limitation on transaction amount through the BI System- RTGS. Transaction nominal for fund transfer that may proceed through BI- RTGS system is above Rp. 100.000.000 (one hundred million Rupiah), and for transaction below the nominal, will be proceed through Bank Indonesia National Clearing System (SKNBI).

    Disclaimer:
    For transaction using Online Banking and Breeze, please note that Fund Transfer in the amount Rp 100 mio and below using RTGS, will be automatically proceed and re-route through SKN. Please pay attention and make sure this condition first before confirming to proceed with the transaction. Standard Chartered Bank shall not be liable for any loss caused by this processing and re-route including delay that might occur.

    Terms and Conditions of cash back
    1. Transactions included in the calculation of the cash back amount are retail transaction, including EZ Bill monthly transaction, Steady Pay/Steady Pay by phone/Cash on Phone monthly instalment.
    2. Transactions not included in the calculation are, all cancelled retail transactions, annual fee, cash advance, interest, fees and charges.
    3. Cash back calculation = % cash back x total new transaction within the billing period
    4. The minimum amount of cash back is IDR 25,000 in 1 (one) month; if it is less than the stated amount, the cash back will not be provided,
    Illustration:
    • Total transaction within one month is IDR 2,000,000; cash back is IDR 20,000 (1% x IDR 2,000,000)
    • Since IDR 20,000 is less than IDR 25,000, no cash back amount will be credited to your credit card account.
    5. The maximum amount of cash back is IDR 650,000 in 1 (one) month.
    6. Cash back will be provided within 1 (one) month after billing statement date and will appear in your billing statement at the maximum of 2 (two) months after transaction date.
    7. Cash back will be directly credited to cardholder credit card in Rupiah and not redeemable.

    With regards to the improvement of Bank's Daily report, Bank Indonesia has continuously improved the accuracy of data and information in supporting the establishment of monetary and banking policy in Indonesia.

    In line with the above, hereby we would like to inform you that BI has issued BI Circular No. 14/39/DOM dated 28 December 2012 concerning Bank's Daily Reporting requirement, requiring customer to provide to the Bank, information regarding type of transaction purpose and type of underlying document for below transactions:

    1. Foreign currency purchase against Rupiah amounted above USD100,000.00 by the client and foreign party for any tenors;
    2. Rupiah purchase amounted ≥ IDR500 mio in one or several transaction within one day conducted by Foreign Party for any tenors;

    Should there exist any inconsistency between the information provided by the client/foreign party on the trade date and underlying document submitted on value date, Bank will be imposed penalty by Bank Indonesia based the prevailing regulations.

    The requested information is required to be provided to the bank on trade date. Kindly be advised that this information requirement shall be effective commencing on 11 February 2013. Other transaction which is not regulated as per above is business as usual and remained unchanged.

    For your information and easy reference, we also attach list of type of purpose code and type of underlying code with detailed information that can be accepted by Bank Indonesia in line with the aforementioned provision.

    Following changes of Bank Indonesia regulation in foreign currency transaction against IDR (Rupiah), effective March 21, 2012, the purchase of foreign currency above USD 100,000 or equivalent can only be completed for:

    • Non speculative purpose and cannot be placed into saving, deposit and current account.
    • Currency purchased must be suited with underlying transaction.
