Standard Chartered
Important security update for online transactions
It's good to be extra secure
while banking online
To ensure all your online Credit Card transactions are secure, we are putting in place a new, effective measure.

Soon, every online Credit Card transaction will require a One Time password (OTP) which will be sent to your registered mobile number. This will appear in place of the "Verified by Visa/ MasterCard Secure" password*.

Now, complete your transaction in 3 easy steps:

Make your purchase and enter your Card details
You will be directed to a Standard Chartered Security Site which will ask for the OTP, sent to your registered mobile number
Enter the OTP to complete your transaction

Important: If you happen to be a supplementary Cardholder, please note that the OTP will be sent to the primary Cardholder's mobile number.

In case your mobile number isn't updated, call us on our Phone Banking numbers.

*This will be required on 3D Secure enabled merchants only. Currently, most e-commerce merchants in India are 3D Secure enabled as per RBI requirements. It may not be applicable to international merchants
