You will earn 10 reward points for every Rs 100 of spends in these categories. There is no minimum spends threshold for earning reward points in the above mentioned categories. You can earn a maximum of 100 reward points per transaction in these categories and a maximum of 1000 reward points in a month.

Illustration: If you spend INR 500 on Entertainment, INR 3,000 on Groceries, INR 1,000 on Utilities and INR 500 on Telecom in the month, the reward points earned will be as per the table below.

      Sorry, you won’t earn any reward point on other categories.
    • How can I know the reward points balance?
      You can get to see the same in your monthly statement every month or call up the customer care.
    • Can I club the reward points across multiple cards or transfer the points from one card account to another?
      Sorry, this cannot be done. Rewards redemption can only be done against the card on which the reward points were accrued.
    • Do reward points accrued on my card expire?
      Yes reward points earned in the period of 1st Jan to 31st Dec will expire on 30th June of the subsequent year.
    • What are the fees for holding a Standard Chartered Platinum Rewards Debit Card ?
      The Rewards Platinum Debit Card comes at an annual fee of INR 499 plus applicable taxes. For Employee Banking accounts, please contact phone-banking for service charges applicable to your relationship.
    • Can I convert my existing Debit Card into a Cash back Platinum Debit Card?
