How it works

You can make any payment to educational institutions or any other merchant establishment by 'Smart Cheque' with your Standard Chartered Credit Card. Be it school fees or higher educational expenses, simply call the Bank and state your requirement. Your request will be processed in two working days.

Option 1 - Select to repay the transaction with a one off processing fee of 2% (on the value of the cheque) and a monthly interest rate of 2% (24% p.a). Illustration: For a Rs. 10,000 "Smart Cheque" facility, a one off processing fee of Rs. 200 and a monthly interest rate of 2% (24% p.a) will be levied.

Option 2 - Select to repay the transaction in equal monthly instalments with a one off processing fee. Available tenures will be 3, 6, 12 and 24 and the applicable one off processing fee will be 6%, 7%, 10.50% and 17.50% respectively,
