Interest rates for Term Deposit Account

Tenure Interest Rates
1 - 2 months 2.70%
3 - 5 months 2.85%
6 - 8 months 2.90%
9 - 11 months 2.90%
12 months 3.00%
More than 12 months 3.00%

Interest is calculated on a contractual basis and paid upon maturity (for tenures of 1-12 months) or on a half yearly basis (for tenures of more than 12 months). Effective Date: 27th July 2016.


All clients who have an account with Standard Chartered Bank and any new clients applying for an account with Standard Chartered Bank can apply for the Term Deposit.
