  1. The Standard Chartered Shake and Win Campaign 2017 (“Campaign”) is open to credit cardholders of any credit card (other than corporate cards) issued by Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad ("SCBMB Cards").
  2. The Campaign commences on 17 July 2017 and ends on 30 September 2017, inclusive of both dates (“Campaign Period”).
  3. To participate, Eligible Cardholder must spend a minimum of RM100 (“Minimum Spend Criteria”) in a single transaction (either local or overseas spend) using their SCBMB Cards within the Campaign Period (“Eligible Transaction”).
  4. Each Eligible Cardholder will only receive one (1) link in one (1) SMS with every Eligible Transaction made. Each link will only be valid from 00:00 17 July 2017 to 23:59 30 September 2017, whereby Eligible Cardholder can only access the link during the stipulated period as above.
  5. Eligible Cardholders are required to click on the link in the SMS to play a game which will then confirm if the Eligible Transaction done is entitled for Daily Prize. To play the game, internet connectivity is required.
  6. Eligible transaction charged to the supplementary cardholders will be counted as an Eligible Transaction made by the principal cardholder for the purposes of this Campaign and SMS will only be sent to principal cardholder to play the game.
  7. The daily cashback for each day is capped at 1,120 winners per day for the month of July 2017 and 820 winners per day for the month of August 2017 and September 2017.
  8. To qualify for Grand Prize of RM10,000 cashback, every RM100 Eligible Transaction done will earn the Eligible Cardholders one (1) entry to win the Grand Prize at the end of the Campaign Period.
  9. A total of 10 Grand Prize worth RM10,000 each will be given out to 10 winners throughout the Campaign Period.
  10. An Eligible Credit Cardholder is eligible to win a maximum of two (2) Daily Cashback per day and one (1) Grand Prize during the Campaign Period, regardless of how many SCBMB Cards he/she is holding.
  11. All cashback will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder’s principal credit card account as determined by the Bank within 60 days after the end of Campaign Period.
  12. Cashback cannot be transferred nor can they be exchanged for any other item and only will be awarded to the relevant principal cardholder only.

How do I get to play the Shake and Win game (“Game”)?

You will receive an SMS upon spending minimum RM100 in a single transaction to play the game. Please click on the URL displayed in the SMS. Instruction on how to play the game will be displayed when you click on the URL and do clear your browser’s cache after you have played the game.

What are the Shake and Win game mechanics?

Use your finger to swipe the bag from left to right a few times. Thereafter, you will be shown a notification message in the screen which stipulates whether you win the daily cashback or not.

When will I get my cashback if I am one of the winners?

The cashback will be credited to you within 60 days after the campaign period ends.

Do I need internet connectivity for the Game?

Yes, and the cost of internet connectivity shall be borne by you.

What if I am overseas?

You will be required to activate your roaming service and will receive the SMS as long as you are connected to a telecommunication network service. Please note that you will need internet connectivity to continue playing the game.

Is there a cap on winning the daily prize and grand prize?

Yes, you are entitled to win a maximum of two (2) prizes per day and every RM100 spend will earn you one (1) entry to win the grand prize of RM10,000 cashback.

What if I am a supplementary cardholder? Will I receive an SMS?

SMS will only be sent to the principal cardholders’ registered mobile number with the Bank. Prizes won will only be credited to the principal cardholder’s credit card.

What if I am a supplementary cardholder? Can I combine my credit card spend with my principal cardholder’s credit card spend?

a. Daily Prize: Credit card spend cannot be combined as the spend criteria is based on a single card transaction with RM100 and above spend.
b. Grand Prize: Yes, you may combine all your credit card spend to accumulate the number of entries.
