Details

You can earn potentially significant returns on your excess cash flow with our BusinessOne-i Account.

What is a BusinessOne-i Account?

Unlike conventional current accounts that are not allowed to offer any type of returns, our BusinessOne-i Account offers a unique advantage - a Syariah-compliant way of banking in which the bank is allowed to pay a discretionary 'hibah' or gift (which is the return).

How does it work?

BusinessOne-i Account is based on the Islamic law of guaranteed safekeeping or 'Al Wadiah Yad Dhamanah', whereby Standard Chartered Saadiq acts as the custodian of your funds and guarantees its safekeeping. This arrangement will allow the bank to place your money in prudent Syariah-compliant investments that are approved by Bank Negara. The returns gained from the investment will then be used to pay you a discretionary 'hibah' or gift.

The Return or 'Hibah' Rate

The return or 'hibah' rate varies from time to time.
