Cash Cover Plus is designed for all Standard Chartered ATM / VISA Debit Card Customers withdrawing cash from Standard Chartered ATMs. You are covered upto your daily withdrawal limit (PKR 30,000 for Core and PKR 50,000 for Priority customers) for an hour after you make your withdrawal.

Cash Cover Plus is an insurance cover for Cash withdrawn from any SCBPL ATM / Visa Debit card against snatching,armed holdup and / or forced deprivation:

  • Coverage upto daily withdrawal limit (PKR 30,000 for Core and PKR 50,000 for Priority customers) at any Standard Chartered Bank ATM.
  • Incidents occurring within 1 hour of withdrawal.
  • Coverage for Accidental Death PKR 500,000.
  • Notifications of claims to be made within 72 hours for loss of cash and within 60 days for accidental death.
  • Upto 3 claims in a year.

  • The insured customer's statement of account maintained with the bank will act as his / her enrolment under the program (if his / her account is charged under the plan).
  • EFU General Insurance Limited is directly responsible to the customer for any liability arising out of the terms and conditions of this insurance coverage including settling of claims or for the approval or rejection of any claim.

Claim Processing

Processing a Cash Claim has never been so simple:

Step 1: Call and inform EFU General Insurance at (0213) 5640535, (0213) 5653907 or (0213) 5653909 within 72 hours of the insured event.

Step 2: Inform Police about the incident and get a Roznamcha / FIR.

Step 3: Provide the required documents to EFU General Insurance at Central Division 1st Floor Kashif Centre, Shahrah-e-Faisal Karachi.


    • What is Cash Cover Plus?
      Cash Cover Plus is an insurance cover for cash withdrawn from a Standard Chartered Bank ATM using an ATM/VISA Debit Card. It covers any incident (robbery/theft/forced deprivation) of an amount upto your daily withdrawal limit (PKR 30,000 for Core and PKR 50,000 for Priority customers) for an hour after you make your withdrawal.

    • Who is eligible for Cash Cover Plus?
      All Standard Chartered ATM/VISA Debit Card customers who opt for Cash Cover Plus insurance.

    • What if I am robbed after I have left the Standard Chartered ATM?
      Cash Cover Plus provides coverage up to 1 hour from the time of withdrawal at a Standard Chartered Bank ATM.

    • Are there any charges for this service?
      There is annual charge of PKR 1,200 which will be directly debited from your Account with automatic renewal in subsequent years.
