For this purpose, New Jubilee Insurance Company Limited (NJI Life) brings you Family Care – a term life and accidental death insurance, designed to insure your life for an amount up to Rs 2,400,000 (Rupees Two Million and Four Hundred Thousand Only).

The life cover would be paid out to your beneficiary in the form of regular monthly installments for 10 years. Family Care will enable your loved ones will to continue living with pride and be able to meet basic expenses such as your children's education and utility bills.

Eligibility

Family Care is an ideal insurance plan for you if you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Only for Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited (SCBPL) Current and Savings account holders.
  • Aged above 18 years and under 60 years
    Note: once enrolled at age under 60 years, you can remain enrolled till the enrollment date anniversary preceding your 65th birthday.

Coverage Provided

The protection available for the beneficiary is:

  • In case of Accidental Death (Rs 2,400,000)
    In case of Accidental Death of the Insured Customer, the benefit will be a monthly payment of Rs 20,000 for a period of 10 years. The total payout will be Rs 2,400,000 (Rupees Two Million and Four Hundred Thousand Only).
  • In case of Natural Death (Rs 1,200,000)
    In case of Natural Death of the Insured Customer, the benefit will be a monthly payment of Rs 10,000 for a period of 10 years. The total payout will be Rs 1,200,000 (Rupees One Million and Two Hundred Thousand Only).

How to Enroll

Enrolling for this insurance offer is easy and has two simple methods:

  • You can simply call SCBPL Phone Banking at 111 002 002 or 0800-66-666 and request for enrolment.
  • An SCBPL representative will call you personally and get your consent and other details to enroll under the insurance program.

FAQs

    • Does it provide life insurance coverage under all events?
      Yes! It will cover your life under all events, subject to policy Terms and Conditions.

    • How much do I need to pay for the policy?
      Your account will be deducted for an amount of Rs 3,000 upfront for the entire 1 year cover.

    • How will I know that I am enrolled under the program?
      After obtaining your consent for the enrollment through one of the above methods, you will be enrolled under Family Care. Once premium has been deducted from the account, your bank statement will serve as proof of your enrollment.

    • Whom should I contact for the renewal of the cover?
      Family Care is an annual policy and will be renewed automatically for the subsequent years if the pricing and terms and conditions remain unchanged.
