"Home Protection Plan" is an annual insurance product specially designed to help you and your family recover from a loss in the event of burglary, fire, flood, earthquake and other perils.

Home structure

Any loss to the structure of your home and its contents due to following perils are covered:

  • Fire explosion (including explosion of domestic appliances i.e. stoves) Lightening, Thunderbolt, Earthquake
  • Riot, Strike, labor disturbance and malicious acts such as burglary or theft
  • Aircraft and other aerial devices or other droppings (as well as falling trees)
  • Natural disasters such as flood, typhoon
Cash and Jewellery

Loss of cash or jewellery at home or in transit due to burglary or armed hold-up.

Accidental Death

You are covered against accidental death up to the specified limit.

Lost and Stolen Documents

Covers the replacement cost incurred due to loss or theft of personal documents issued by the Government of Pakistan (i.e. CNIC / Passport / Driving License).


Your cherished contents at home like laptops, furniture and carpets are some items that are also covered under this section of the policy.

The above premium are inclusive of all applicable Government taxes and levies i.e. 16% Sales Tax on Services (SST), 1% Federal Insurance Fees (FIF), 5% Admin Surcharge and PKR 20 Stamp duty. Any changes in the taxes will affect the premium accordingly and the customer will be informed in advance.

    • What is Free Look period?
      You may cancel Home Protection Plan during the "Free Look Period" which is 15 days from the date of your premium deduction and get a full refund of the premium paid.

    • Will I be refunded the premium if I cancel the policy after Free Look period?
      No premium will be refunded after the Free Look Period.

    • Is wear and tear and burglary / theft by servants/house member covered?
      The house contents will not be covered against wear and tear and / or burglary / theft by servants and / or house members.
