Regional Head, ASEAN & South Asia, Private Banking, and Global Head, Global South Asian Community
Srinivas ("Srini") Siripurapu was appointed Regional Head, ASEAN & South Asia, Private Banking, and Global Head, Global South Asian Community (GSAC) on 5 July 2016.
In this role, Srini is responsible for leading the Private Banking business and teams in the ASA region, as well as further establishing and executing on our GSAC strategy.
An experienced wealth practitioner, Srini has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry across investment and private banking, having held leadership positions at Barclays and UBS in Singapore and ABN Amro in India.
He was most recently Head of Southeast Asia, Global South Asian Community and Africa Offshore at Barclays, where he played a key role in driving the private bank’s strategic growth agenda.
An Indian citizen, Srini holds MA and MBA degrees from Indian universities. His interests include adventure traveling and learning golf.

The Shellshock (or Bash Bug) vulnerability has recently been discovered by IT security researchers. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to gain control over an affected machine, access confidential information and perform unauthorised activities. The Bank has carried out investigations and found no vulnerability in our systems. We will continue to monitor our systems and the external environment to take necessary action if a threat is detected
