How do I play Shake The Tree Game?

Step 1:
Register your eligible Standard Chartered Credit Card here if you have not already done so. Note that there is a processing period of 2 working days for registrations to take effect.

Step 2:
After successful registration, charge a single eligible transaction of at least $150 to your registered credit card.

Step 3:
You will receive an SMS with a URL link.



Step 4:
Click on the URL link and you will be prompted to open the link in The Good Life® (TGL) app. Please ensure that you have updated the TGL app to its latest version. If you are using an outdated version, you will be prompted to update the app before you can play Shake the Tree Game.

Step 5:
Once the TGL app is launched, shake the phone from side to side to play Shake the Tree Game and check out the prize you have won.

I do not have the TGL app. What should I do?

Step 1:
Click on the URL link in the SMS you receive from us after charging at least $150 in a single eligible transaction to your registered credit card. You will be prompted to download the app from the relevant app store.

Step 2:
Once the TGL app is installed, you will be prompted to go through the tutorial screens.

After the tutorial screens, the Tree will appear. Shake the phone from side to side to play Shake The Tree Game and check out the prize you have won.

Can I still play Shake the Tree game if I do not have a smartphone?

Yes, you can copy the link into the address bar of your computer’s internet browser and use your mouse to play.
