Recurring Payment Plan Terms and Conditions

  1. You represent and warrant that all information (including any documents) you have provided to Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited ("Bank") in connection with your Recurring Payment Plan application is correct, complete and not misleading, and you consent to us disclosing information relating to you to the relevant organisations which we consider necessary in order to provide you with services in connection with your application, and your Standard Chartered Credit Card ("Credit Card") account.

  2. All applications for Recurring Payment Plan are subject to approvals from the relevant organisation(s). We will not notify you separately of your application status. Please continue to make payment to the relevant organisation(s) until the charges are reflected in your Credit Card statement.

  3. Please allow up to 6 weeks for the processing of your application.

  4. We reserve the right to reject or decline any Recurring Payment Plan application in our sole discretion without giving any reason whatsoever.

  5. Payment(s) to be charged to your Credit Card under your Recurring Payment Plan is subject to your Credit Card account being in good standing. Any payment exceeding the available Credit Card limit at the time the payment is posted to your Credit Card account will be unsuccessful. You should therefore ensure that there is sufficient Credit Card limit for these payments. If any payment charged to your Credit Card is unsuccessful for any reason, you will be responsible for arranging alternative payment arrangement(s) to the relevant organisation(s).

  6. For clarity, your Recurring Payment Plan will continue even if your replacement or renewed Credit Card has not been activated provided that it is of the same card number. If you wish to terminate your Recurring Payment Plan subsequently, please contact the relevant organisation(s) to make alternative payment arrangements.

  7. In the event of any change in your Credit Card number or Credit Card expiry date for either the principal or supplementary Credit Card(s) used for your Recurring Payment Plan, you must notify the relevant organisation(s) accordingly.

  8. We will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss, expenses, delays, mistakes, neglect or omission in the transmission of any payment under your Recurring Payment Plan or for any unsuccessful payment.

  9. We reserve the right to vary, modify, add or delete any of these terms at any time without prior notice or reason.

  10. This Recurring Payment Plan Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with our Customer Terms and Credit Card Terms ("Other Terms"). If there is any inconsistency between the Other Terms and these terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
