You can now suspend your digital services temporarily if you are concerned that your personal banking details may have been compromised.

Call us to temporarily suspend access to your accounts via our digital services.

This feature enables you to instantly suspend your Online Banking and SC Mobile app access temporarily if you suspect that your bank account details have been compromised or that you have fallen prey to scams. Uplifting of suspension can only be done physically at the branch.

Guide to activate this feature

You can activate this feature by calling our Client Contact Centre hotline at +65 6747 7000 and following these steps:

  • Select Option 9 from the main menu
  • Enter your 7-digit NRIC number or 16-digit debit or credit card number
  • Perform second level authentication via Voice Biometrics or an SMS OTP sent to your registered mobile number
  • Press 1 to confirm Online and Mobile Banking access suspension

Upon successful suspension, you will receive a SMS notification.

  • Yes, you can. While the self-suspension via our hotline serves to immediately safeguard your Online and Mobile Banking account within a quick turn-around-time, you can opt to walk into any branch or reach out to your Relationship Manager for assistance or request via our online chat function.

  • Only your Online Banking, Mobile Banking and SC Online Trading app access will be blocked. All your cards can still be used. To block your debit/credit cards, kindly call our Client Contact Centre for assistance.

  • Only your Online Banking, Mobile Banking and SC Online Trading access will be blocked. All incoming and outgoing transactions such as scheduled transfers, GIRO, salary credit, will still be processed.

  • Uplifting of suspension can only be done in-person at the branch for face-to-face verification along with supporting documentation.
