TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALLIANZ MIX AND MATCH PROMOTION

  1. This Allianz Mix and Match Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE Singapore Branch (“Allianz”) and Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“SCBSL”).
  2. This Promotion is valid from 28 November 2018 to 7 December 2018, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  3. The eligible plans for this Promotion are underwritten by Allianz and distributed by SCBSL.
  4. By participating in this Promotion, you hereby agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Promotional Discount

  1. If you purchase an Allianz Travel Protect Policy through SCBSL’s website during the Promotion Period, you will be entitled to a 30% discount off your premium for the single trip plan and annual plan. To be entitled to the discount, you will need to enter the promotion code <EXPO30>. Purchase(s) made through the SC Mobile App is/are excluded from this Allianz Travel Protect Policy discount.
  2. If you purchase an Allianz Accident Protect Policy though SCBSL’s website during the Promotion Period, you will be entitled to a 25% discount off your first year’s premium.
  3. If you purchase an Allianz Hospital Income Protect Policy though SCBSL’s website during the Promotion Period, you will be entitled to a 25% discount off your first year’s premium.
  4. You will be entitled to an additional 15% discount on the Adult(s) premiums payable for Couple or Family Plans for Allianz Accident Protect Policy and Allianz Hospital Income Protect Policy.

  1. The Promotional Gift(s) (“Gift”) are:
    1. Google Home Mini (worth S$79); and
    2. Google Home Mini and Google Home (worth S$268).
  2. The three products that are eligible under this Promotion (each an “Eligible Product”) are:
    1. Allianz Travel Protect Annual Plan;
    2. Allianz Accident Protect; and
    3. Allianz Hospital Income Protect.
  1. During the Promotion Period, a customer who successfully purchases:
    1. Any two different and distinct products out of the three Eligible Products will be entitled to a Google Home Mini (worth S$79); or

  1. In order for you to be entitled to the Gift(s), Eligible Products purchased have to be issued under the same policyholder name and identification number (NRIC / FIN).
  1. Only the main policyholder will be entitled to the Gift.
  2. All information is correct at the time of print.
  3. This Promotion is applicable to new applicants only during the Promotion Period and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, vouchers, rebates, privileges or offers, unless otherwise stated.

Promotional Gift Redemption

  1. All updates regarding gift redemption will be communicated to you by Allianz by post or email at the mailing address or email provided by you during your application. Please inform Allianz through the Allianz Customer Service Hotline (“1800 222 1818”) should there be any changes in your mailing address, email or other personal particulars provided during the application.
  2. A redemption letter for the Gift(s) will be issued to the main policyholder within two (2) months from your date of purchase during the Promotion Period. The Gift(s) must be redeemed in accordance with the instructions stated in the redemption letter.
  3. The Gift(s) and redemption letter are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item in part or in whole. Redemption letter that has expired or lost will not be replaced.
  4. The Gift(s) must be redeemed by the expiry date indicated on the redemption letter at the redemption location stated.
  5. At the point of redemption, your policy/policies should be active. If you cancel your policy/policies at any time before the expiry date indicated on the redemption letter, Allianz reserves the right to deduct the value of the Gift(s) from the premium refund (if applicable) in accordance to the policy terms and conditions, if any.
  6. When you redeem the Gift(s), the store representative may require you to present your personal ID such as Singapore National Identity Card / Passport / Employment Pass / Dependent Pass / Student Pass or any other personal document for the purpose of verifying your identity against the redemption letter. If you do not consent to such disclosure, you will not be able to redeem the Gift(s) and it will be forfeited.
  7. By purchasing any of the Eligible Products during the Promotion Period to qualify for the Gift(s), you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data to Allianz’s third party service provider for the purpose of Gift redemption only.
  8. Allianz will not guarantee the availability of the Gift(s) on the day of redemption.
  9. The Gift(s) may come in different colours and will be subject to availability and based on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  10. You may wish to call the redemption centre to check on stock availability before collection.
  11. Allianz may at its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice substitute or replace the Gift(s) with any other gift of equal or similar value.
  12. Neither Allianz nor SCBSL is the supplier of the Gift(s).  Neither is obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with the supplier of the Gift(s) for any reason.  You accept the Gift(s) as it is and subject to any terms and conditions that the supplier of the Gift(s) may impose. Any Gift(s) that is not redeemed within the prescribed period stated on the redemption letter will be forfeited.
  13. Allianz and SCBSL make no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms or conditions with respect to the Gift(s).  Neither Allianz nor SCBSL will be liable for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with the Gift(s).

General Terms

  1. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to this Promotion, these Promotion terms and conditions shall prevail.
  2. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
  3. A person who is not a party to these Promotion terms and conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Promotion terms and conditions.
  4. This document describes the insurance products and services provided by Allianz in alliance with SCBSL. This document is not a contract of insurance and reference should be made to the actual policy for the exact terms and conditions applicable to the insurance policy, which will be sent to you upon the acceptance of your application by Allianz. All insurance products described in this document are products of and underwritten by Allianz and not SCBSL. In facilitating insurance arrangements or in referring customers to Allianz, SCBSL is acting in alliance with the insurer and not as an agent for customers.
  5. You may wish to seek advice from a qualified advisor before purchasing the policy and in the event that you choose not to seek advice, you should consider whether the policy is suitable for you. If, after purchasing the policy, you decide that the policy is not suitable for you, you may terminate the policy in accordance with the free-look provision, if any, and the insurer may recover from you any expense incurred by them in underwriting the policy.
  6. The Eligible Products are protected under the Policy Owners’ Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your Policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
