Staff Banking General Insurance Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. This Staff Banking General Insurance Promotion is available from 12 November 2018 to 31 January 2019 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”) and is open to Eligible Employees (as defined below) and their Immediate Family Member(s) (as defined below).
  1. For the purposes of these Promotion Terms and Conditions,
    1. Eligible Employees” shall mean employees of any of the following entities:
      1. Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore Branch;
      2. Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“SCBSL”);
      3. Standard Chartered PF Managers Pte Ltd;
      4. Standard Chartered Trust (Singapore) Pte Ltd,  (collectively “Standard Chartered Group”)
    2. An “Immediate Family Member” refers to an Eligible Employee’s legal spouse, child, sibling, or parent.
  1. Eligible Products” refer to the products listed in the table (“Table”) below:

  1. To enjoy the promotions described in the Table above:
    1. For non-online application: Eligible Employees and/or their Immediate Family Members must apply for and successfully purchase any Eligible Product during the Promotion Period; or
    2. For online application: Eligible Employees and/or their Immediate Family Members must apply for and successfully purchase any Eligible Product during the Promotion Period. In applying for an Eligible Product, an Eligible Employee and/or his/her Immediate Family Members must tick the “Staff” box in the online application form, and fill in the Eligible Employee’s work e-mail address in the “*Employment Email Address” box in the online application form.
  1. Persons who are not eligible to participate in this Staff Banking General Insurance Promotion are employees who are serving their termination notice period (under their employment contract with the relevant entity of the Standard Chartered Group) at the point of purchasing the relevant Eligible Product(s) and their Immediate Family Members.

MIX AND MATCH PROMOTION

  1. This Mix and Match Promotion is valid from 22 October 2018 to 31 January 2019, both dates inclusive (“Mix and Match Promotion Period”).
  1. By participating in this Mix and Match Promotion, you hereby agreed to be bound by these Promotion Terms and Conditions.

Promotional Gift

  1. The promotional gift(s) are:
    1. Google Home Mini (worth S$79); and
    2. Google Home Mini and Google Home (worth S$268),

each defined as a “Gift”.

  1. Products eligible for this Mix and Match Promotion are:
    1. Allianz Travel Protect Annual Plan;
    2. Allianz Accident Protect; and
    3. Allianz Hospital Income Protect,

each defined as a “Mix and Match Eligible Product”.

  1. For the avoidance of doubt, the Mix and Match Eligible Products listed in Clause 9 is different from the Eligible Products listed in Clause 3. The Mix and Match Eligible Products do not include Allianz Travel Protect Single Trip Plan and Allianz Home Protect.
  1. During the Mix and Match Promotion Period, Eligible Employees and/or their Immediate Family Members who successfully purchase
    1. Any two different and distinct products out of the three Mix and Match Eligible Products will be entitled to a Google Home Mini (worth S$79); or
    2. All three different Mix and Match Eligible Products (i.e. one Mix and Match Eligible Product each) will be entitled to the Google Home Mini and Google Home (worth S$268).

  1. In order for you to be entitled to the Gift(s), the Mix and Match Eligible Products purchased have to be issued under the same policyholder name and identification number (NRIC / FIN).
  1. Only the main policyholder will be entitled to the Gift(s).
  1. Google Home Mini and Google Home are trademarks of Google LLC.

Promotional Gift Redemption

  1. All updates regarding gift redemption will be communicated to you by Allianz by post or email at the mailing address or email provided by you during your application. Please inform Allianz through the Allianz Customer Service Hotline (“1800 222 1818”) should there be any changes in your mailing address, email or other personal particulars provided during the application.
  1. A redemption letter for the Gift(s) will be issued to the main policyholder within two (2) months from your date of purchase during the Mix and Match Promotion Period. The Gift(s) must be redeemed in accordance with the instructions stated in the redemption letter.
  1. The Gift(s) and redemption letter are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item in part or in whole. Redemption letter that has expired or lost will not be replaced.
  1. The Gift(s) must be redeemed by the expiry date indicated on the redemption letter at the redemption location stated.
  1. At the point of redemption, your policy/policies should be active. If you cancel your policy/policies at any time before the expiry date indicated on the redemption letter, Allianz reserves the right to deduct the value of the Gift(s) from the premium refund (if applicable) in accordance to the policy terms and conditions, if any.
  1. When you redeem the Gift(s), the store representative may require you to present your personal ID such as Singapore National Identity Card / Passport / Employment Pass / Dependent Pass / Student Pass or any other personal document for the purpose of verifying your identity against the redemption letter. If you do not consent to such disclosure, you will not be able to redeem the Gift(s) and it will be forfeited.
  1. By purchasing any of the Mix and Match Eligible Products during the Mix and Match Promotion Period to qualify for the Gift(s), you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data to Allianz’s third-party service provider for the purpose of Gift redemption only.
  1. Allianz will not guarantee the availability of the Gift(s) on the day of redemption.
  1. The Gift(s) may come in different colours and will be subject to availability and based on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  1. You may wish to call the redemption centre to check on stock availability before collection.
  1. Allianz may at its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice substitute or replace the Gift(s) with any other gift of equal or similar value.
  1. Neither Allianz nor SCBSL is the supplier of the Gift(s).  Neither is obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with the supplier of the Gift(s) for any reason.  You accept the Gift(s) as it is and subject to any terms and conditions that the supplier of the Gift(s) may impose. Any Gift(s) that is not redeemed within the prescribed period stated on the redemption letter will be forfeited.
  1. Allianz and SCBSL make no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms or conditions with respect to the Gift(s).  Neither Allianz nor SCBSL will be liable for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with the Gift(s).

General Terms

  1. In the event that Allianz is unable to deduct the premium from the credit/ debit card as provided in the application form, you are required to provide an alternative mode of payment.
  1. This Promotion is only applicable to new general insurance applications only during the respective promotion period (as stipulated in Clause 1 and Clause 6) and is not valid with other promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges unless otherwise stated. Eligible Employees and their Immediate Family Members who (a) have terminated an existing Eligible Product and (b) subsequently purchase the same Eligible Product, shall not qualify to enjoy the Promotion offered in respect of such product.
  1. This Promotion is jointly organised by Allianz and SCBSL. SCBSL, or Allianz may vary these Promotion Terms and Conditions without prior notice or withdraw or discontinue this Promotion at any time without any prior notice or liability to you. SCBSL’s or Allianz’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion, including determining eligibility to participate, shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
  1. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to this Promotion, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  1. A person who is not a party to these Promotion Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
  1. These Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Promotion Terms and Conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
  1. This document describes the insurance products and services provided by Allianz in alliance with SCBSL. This document is not a contract of insurance and reference should be made to the actual policy for the exact terms and conditions applicable to the insurance policy, which will be sent to you upon the acceptance of your application by Allianz.
  1. All insurance products described in this document are products of and underwritten by Allianz and not SCBSL. In facilitating insurance arrangements or in referring customers to Allianz, SCBSL is acting in alliance with the insurer and not as an agent for customers. SCBSL shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever regarding your application or the contract of insurance. Guaranteed elements (if any) are obligations of Allianz only. All insurance products are not deposits with, obligations of, or guaranteed by SCBSL.
  1. You may wish to seek advice from a qualified advisor before purchasing the policy and in the event that you choose not to seek advice, you should consider whether the policy is suitable for you. If, after purchasing the policy, you decide that the policy is not suitable for you, you may terminate the policy in accordance with the free-look provision, if any, and the insurer may recover from you any expense incurred by them in underwriting the policy.
  1. The Eligible Products and Mix and Match Eligible Products are protected under the Policy Owners’ Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (“SDIC”). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
