Technology Services (TS) is the ‘run’ backbone of the Bank playing a central role within ITO to strengthen and maintain our technology services. This includes supporting all applications along with the underlying infrastructure.
Technology Services also provides Infrastructure and Security Engineering, Project Management, Global Test Management, Agile and Lean rollouts, desktop asset management, data centre management, technology information security operations and technology incident resolutions.
TS is vital to keeping the day-to- day operations of the Bank functioning smoothly, allowing our customers to do business seamlessly around the globe. Our teams are positioned globally to support every location in which our businesses operate in addition to coordinating all incidents, problem and change management as part of Technical Operations.
TS provides core technologies such as the managing of midrange and mainframe platforms, middleware components, database services, global networks, preventive and proactive monitoring tools as well as items including market data services. Innovation technologies include Hadoop, Amazon Web Services, Palantir cyber security, public and private cloud provisioning, Lean, Agile methodologies, DevOps development and CMDB Business Processing Mapping.
