  • Get Cash Back 1%, or
  • Get Cash Back 3% , when the total spending per SCBT credit card in other categories is greater than 5,000 Baht/month, or
  • Get Cash Back 5%, when the total spending per SCBT credit card in other categories is greater than 15,000 Baht/month

To enjoy this benefit, register via SMS (only one time at the first month of joining this promotion) by typing GAS space then followed by your 16-digit credit card number and send to 4806026 (3 Baht /time). Cardholders who are Priority & International Banking customers and customers who have previously registered via SMS shall automatically receive such benefits. For the period between 1 Aug 2015 till 31 Jan 2016, the reward points for spending through all types of credit card at every gasoline station both in Thailand and aboard shall not be given, including the 1% cash back for spending at every gasoline station under Employee Banking Package will not be given as well. For customers who have received a birthday greetings card through mail offering x3 the rewards points on spending within month of birth, Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited would like to include ineligible spending categories as follows: gas station, LTF, RMF, EASY PAY (both 0% installment program and conversion through customer service), balance transfer from other financial institutions, Easy Bill, Easy Cash, Easy Money, Cash Advance, interest & fee related and return or cancel of purchase. Only one credit card number per customer is eligible for extra rewards points under this program. In the event that the customer has registered via SMS for more than one credit card, extra reward points will be rewarded only to the credit card number having the highest spending.

For the period between 1 Feb 2014 and 31 Jan 2015, Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) (SCBT) will cancel giving reward points for spending through credit card at every gasoline station, including 1% cash back for spending through SCBT MasterCard Platinum at every gasoline station, and 1% cash back for spending at every gasoline station under Employee Banking Package. After the end of such period, such benefits of each type of credit card shall remain the same conditions as previously stated before its cancellation, except as otherwise determined by SCBT.


Association of Investment Management Companies (AIMC) has issued an announcement
RE: Practices in the promotion of mutual fund units to prohibiting Investment Management Companies and Sales agents giving Credit Card reward point and converting to instalment plan when unit holder purchase Mutual Fund by means of Credit Card. To comply with this regulation, Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) has necessary to cancel reward point given on Credit Card and installment feature effective 1 February 2013 onwards.

Credit Card Announcement: Special 360 Rewards Points Cancellation.

  1. SCBT will cancel giving 3X 360 Rewards Points (THB 20=3 Points) for spending through SCBT Platinum Elite Card in shopping, travelling, dining and hotel categories; however, SCBT Platinum Elite Card will still receive 2X 360 Rewards Points (THB 20=2 Points) for spending in every categories (including the above mentioned categories). Effective on 25 February 2012 onward.
  2. SCBT will cancel giving 2X 360 Rewards Points (THB 20=2 Points) for spending through SCBT Titanium Card on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; however, SCBT Titanium Card will still receive 1X 360 Rewards Points (THB 20=1 Points) for spending on everyday basis. Effective on 25 February 2012 onwards.

Cash Back up to 5% at every gas station and supermarket (5 February 2012 - 31 January 2013)

For every 800 Baht / Sale Slip at every gas station and supermarket through Standard Chartered (SCBT) credit card

  • Get Cash Back 2%, or
  • Get Cash Back 5% if total spending per SCBT credit card in other categories is greater than 5,000 Baht / month

    To enjoy this benefit, register via SMS from 5 February 2012 to 31 January 2013 by typing HAPPY space then followed by your 16-digit credit card number and send to 4806026 (3 Baht / time). Maximum spending on gas station and super market category for calculating cash back is 4,800 Baht / category / credit card number / month.

    From 5 February 2012 to 31 January 2013, Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) (SCBT) will cancel giving reward points for spending through credit card at every gasoline station and every supermarket, including 1% cash back for spending through SCBT MasterCard Platinum at every gasoline station & every supermarket, and 1% cash back for spending at every gasoline station under Employee Banking Package. After the end of such period, such benefits of each type of credit card shall remain the same conditions as previously stated before its cancellation, except as otherwise determined by SCBT.

Exchange Rate Risk: Cardholder agrees and accepts that all expenses incurred from the Card usage (including withdraw Cash advances) in any currency other than Thai Baht shall be converted into Thai Baht pursuant to the inter-bank exchange rate as quoted by the credit card companies of which the Bank is a member, at the date when the bank has been notified of the spending amount. However, if the foreign currency transaction is not US dollar, those expenses shall be converted into US dollar prior to convert into Thai Baht in order to collect with the Bank.

In addition, cardholder acknowledges and agrees the Bank is entitled to collect the hedging premium from Cardholder as stipulated by the Bank but not exceeding 2.5% of such exchange rates in order to protect the exchange rate risk.


From 1 August 2010 onwards, please be informed that the redemption of Standard Chartered Points to be credited towards your balance on your next Credit Card Statement is 10 points = 1 Baht (Minimum redemption every 3,000 points = 300 Baht). Effective from 1 August 2009 onwards, Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited would like to inform you that for Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Elite Cardholder, every THB 10 spent is equivalent to 1 Standard Chartered Point and 1.5 Standard Chartered Points can be converted into 1 KrisFlyer Mile.


From 1 November 2008, please be informed the change of combine and/or transfer Standard Chartered Point. Your standard chartered point from each Standard Chartered Credit Card account can not be combined with or transferred to any account.
