2010 Standard Chartered SME Elite Award

Event Highlight:

In line with our commitment to Taiwan SME businesses, we held the “2010 Standard Chartered SME Elite Award” on 1st November 2010 to honour the outstanding SME business owners in Taiwan. This award is held by Standard Chartered Taiwan, advised and endorsed by National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), and supported by DnB as the third-party credit analysis association.

Standard Chartered was the first bank in Taiwan to set up the SME award program, and was encouraged to undertake this endeavour thanks to the outstanding small to medium companies we had come across.

The selection process is supported by DnB and endorsed by NASME. The selection criteria include four major categories - Business Information, Payment Information, Financial Information and Negative Information, and include over 30 items. 100 winners are identified and awarded from the pool of over 5,000 Taiwan SME clients.

During the awards, many VIP guests from the government and academy graced the luncheon to deliver awards, show their appreciation to winners, and recognise Standard Chartered’s support for SMEs in Taiwan.

Standard Chartered bank Taiwan has long supported SMEs in Taiwan, helping them significantly improve financial performance and comply with government policy. We are committed to being the best SME business partner in Taiwan, and will continue to proactively engage with this sector. In the future, Standard Chartered will continue to demonstrate our commitment to the SME sector and invest our greatest efforts in their success in Taiwan.
