Late Payment Penalty VND 150,000/ time (payment made 3 days after due)
Late Payment Interest 150% due levied on Principal Payment Component on the daily basis.
Early Redemption In The First Year:
No Early Redemption is allowed or if accepted by the Bank the Early Redemption Fee of 6% applies on the Part or Full Early Redemption Amount.

From The 2nd Year Until End of the 4th Year:
- Part Early Redemption: (i) 0% Early Redemption Fee on the Amount up to 20% of Disbursed Amount(s) in a year; or (ii) 2% on the Early Redemption Amount exceeding 20% of Disbursed Amount(s) in a year.
- Full Early Redemption: 2% on the Outstanding Loan Amount;

From The 5th Year Onwards: Fee free

In all cases, Client is allowed to make Early Redemption not more than 4 times in a year.

Terms and Conditions

For Mortgage
  1. For applicants who are Vietnamese residents or Foreigners whose spouses are Vietnamese residents.
  2. For applicants aged from 21 and aged at loan maturity of 55/60 (female/ male) with a minimum monthly net income of VND 17.2 Millions (USD 800) or VND 30 Millions (USD 1395)
  3. For applicants with co-borrowers who are Immediate Family Members.
  4. For applicants who have at least 3 months at current job/ or at least 1 year working experience (for salaried) or 3 years in operation (for self-employed)
  5. Please note that final approval of your Home loan/ Alternate Property Loan/ Loan Against Property is subject to receipt and validation of all required documents.

Salaried Customer
Copy of National ID Card/ Passport (for Vietkieu or Foreigner only).
Copy of valid Work permit/ Visa.
Copy of Permanent Resident Book/ KT3/ HK09.
Copy of Marital Status Certificate/ Single Certificate or Divorce Certificate/ or Death Certificate of Spouse.
Copy of Property Ownership or related valid documents to Property which is used as Collateral.
Copy of Purchase Agreement, Reservation Agreement, ... together with related payment invoice/ receipt (if any)
Evidence of Loan Purpose (e.g. construction license for renovation/ extension, purchase contract for home loan).
3-month of the latest pay slips or bank statement signed and authorized stamp by the pre-approved employer.
Evidence of employment for salaried

Self-Employed Customer
Copy of National ID Card/ Passport (for Vietkieu and Foreigner only).
Copy of valid Work permit/ Visa.
Copy of Permanent Resident Book/ KT3/ HK09.
Copy of Marital Status Certificate/ Single Certificate or Divorce Certificate/ or Death Certificate of spouse.
Certified true copy of FD and 6-month bank statement
Copy of Business License.
Copy of Property Ownership or related valid documents to Property which is used as Collateral.
Copy of Purchase Agreement, Reservation Agreement, ... together with related payment invoice/receipt (if any).
Evidence of Loan Purpose (e.g. Construction license for renovation/ extension, Purchase contract for Home Loan).
Evidence to show Length of relationship with the existing bank is more than 6-month and 1-year for PB and Non-PB respectively.
Proof of other incomes (if any), e.g. car rental, warehouse rental.
In case of joint account, provable document to show both must sign is required.

Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited ("the Bank") will give you an initial response on your loan application within 30 days from the date that the Bank receives your completed and valid required documents.
